Behold the Violet Ranger.

The Weather was nice and crisp as a small two seater space conveyance arrived at the Space Port on Capsilon IX.

"Capsilon Control, this is Ranger Two requesting landing space," the pilot called over the radio.

"Ranger Two this is Capsilon Control. Please Divert to Diplomatic Space Port Settlement 9," the controller said.

"Full up or something?" the pilot asked.

"No we are still rebuilding from a previous Battle," the controller said.

"Let’s hope this rust bucket will make it to Settlement 9," the lone passenger said.

"It will. I only ran her at half power the last few thousand light years from Phaedos. I was only running her at ¾ power from Mirinoi to Phaedos," the pilot said. "Lynn, did you bring your camera I want a record of the look on the Jackson sisters face when they see me in Uniform after they return from Lunar?"

"I kind of left my camera in Annell’s room at the hotel on Mirinoi when we were there for the Tournament that we had to drop out of in order to come here," Linoka said.

"IF Roxanne and Vanessa weren’t stuck here I bet they would have been at the tournament on Mirinoi as well," her sister Kistra said.

They soon landed at the Diplomatic Space Port. After unloading their luggage they walked over to a taxi stand.

"I hope the professor doesn’t mind me charging it to Rangertech but I have almost no money on me after having to refuel on Onyx," Kistra said. "Man is the Fuel Depot attendant there a real moron. I bet he charged me four times what that fuel was worth."

"Probably would have been higher if you hadn’t pretended to be a long lost relative of Dark Specter’s instead of being a sixth cousin to the Chief Planetary Advisor for the Crown Prince of Triforia," Linoka said.

"Who knows. If I told the truth since King Trey and Prince Grenadine are so respected even among the Villain and scumbags he might have given it to us for free as a service to the Triforian Royal Family," Kistra said.

Kistra was lucky and when she requested the cabbie take her to the Old Colony Astro Inn and asked if he could charge it to Rangertech the cabbie was extremely gracious.

"IF you are with Rangertech then as a service to your fine employer I will take you where ever you wish my treat," he replied.

"Something smells fishy Kistra," Linoka said.

"Lynn, you have to consider I basically identified ourselves as Rangers," Kistra pointed out.

They soon arrived at the Inn and headed for their room.

"Man, the word Rangertech opens f’ing doors around here," Linoka said as they got off an elevator into the Penthouse. "So what’s next sis?"

"I have to go meet with Dr. Cummings Make sure I have no permanent souvenirs of our last trip here," Kistra said.

"Man everything but what the Xeno Empire did to us was fun. Even if you and Roxanne almost got disqualified," Linoka said.

Kistra then called the Medical Center.

"Dr. Cummings Please," She said.

"I’m sorry but Dr. Cummings took a leave of absence," the operator said.

"Any idea where one could find her?" Kistra asked.

"I heard rumors she is helping out at Rangertech," the operator said.

"OK I’ll look there," Kistra said. "She wasn’t in. Let’s go to the Youth Center."

They soon arrived at the Youth Center. Matt was working behind the bar since the situation still required Kim’s presence away from her job.

"Weren’t you two fine warriors at the tournament a while back?" He asked as they sat down.

"Yeah during the Tag Team we got our rear ends handed to us by the Jackson Twins," Linoka said.

"My youngest daughter and my next door neighbors oldest daughter are good friends of the Jackson Twins," Matt said.

"Who is your next door neighbor?" Kistra asked.

"Dr. Bethany Cummings and her family. You familiar with the Blond Brainiac?" Matt asked.

"Actually I tried to call Dr. Cummings at the Terra Venture Medical Center and they said she was on a leave of absence," Kistra said.

"She is she is helping out in the Medical Chamber at Rangertech. You might try her there," Matt said. "My co-owner is also helping out there right now Kim Coltran."

After a couple rounds of Connorson’s Cola they headed for somewhere they could get to the Bunker from. They walked the two miles from Settlement 14 after grabbing a cab from Old Colony.

By chance Dr. Cummings was trying to go from the War Room to the Medical Chamber.

"Hi Doc," Kistra said. "Doc, are you really known as the Blond Brainiac?"

"Matt always was a bit of a comedian but then so is my husband. He likes to refer to Kelly Brennan as El Dolphino," Bethany said. "My hair is a little more reddish then your typical blond but not as reddish as yours Kistra."

Bethany then took Kistra into the Medical Chamber while Linoka joined the Demona Rangers in the Snack Bar. After a few minutes Kistra went over to the War Room where Tyra thankfully had a new morpher ready.

"You must be Kistra, I have everything all set," Tyra said. Tyra then helped Kistra to put the Morphers on. The Alarm went off about then. The Screen showed Myrra and Catherine attacking a small encampment a few hundred miles from Settlement 7. It was in a real open area.

"This is not good," Kistra said. "Oh well it will allow me to get my first morph out of the way. I have a feeling I will need Nefertiti on this one. Professor, how much can I relay on my powers."

"Your Crystal is one of the more powerful crystals. In fact studies that Amelia did show that your crystal packs almost double the normal output of a typical Zordoniam Crystal of that purity," Professor Damon said.

"I’ll probably need everything I can get. Kim, I recommend you and the Demona’s back me up as best you can. Nefertiti and I will have to handle the Bulk of the Fighting," Kistra said. "Showtime, Violet Zordonian Power."

"Demona Ranger Exomorph," Kim barked.

Fairly soon the Rangers were in Battle. Kim and the other Demona Rangers started attacking the Xenonites while Myrra and Catherine looked on.

"Not so powerful without all your zords are you?" Tara snickered from aboard Catherine.

"Hey Scarlet Ranger, How about picking on someone your own size," Kistra called out. "Nefertiti Maximize."

The Single Tailed Aircraft with l shaped wings then Converted into Battle Warrior Mode. Nefertiti looked thin but her Face roughly resembled the Egyptian Queen on which she was named.

"Three can play that Game," Nightshade sneered. "Myrra Maximize."

"Catherine Maximize."

Catherine had the look of a Russian Queen after She was in her Battle Warrior Mode.

"Well well looks like that ditzy Aphrealle sent a new playmate for us to Destroy," Nightshade snarled.

"Actually the Professor gave me my morpher. I’m not sure who Aphrealle is," Kistra said.

Kistra then sent a high energy beam at the Two Evil Zords. Catherine had a small shield which deflected the beam.

"Not good," Kistra said.

The beam though headed for the Command Bunker.

"Incoming," Professor Damon called out as He Dr. Cummings, and Linoka started to duck. The beam though headed for a small table where it solidified into a darkish blue crystal. Alpha had walked in during all this and ran a scanner over the crystal.

"That beam looks to have come from Kistra’s Zord. Yet the spectral readout is different," Alpha said.

"How different?" Linoka asked.

"It’s readout is more Sapphire. Very interesting," Alpha said.

"Professor, is this crystal stable enough for Morphing?" Linoka asked.

"I’m not sure. The Scarlet Ranger was formed from an unstable crystal. Who knows how stable this one is especially since it is newly formed," Professor Damon said.

"Professor, My Sister is out there fighting Two Zords at once. The Demona Rangers are stuck fighting Xenonites for the simple reason that their powers aren’t enough to go up against The Xeno Empire. IF there is a chance that Two Zordonian Rangers can make a difference then we must do what we can," Linoka said.

Tyra had walked in and run a few studies on the Crystal.

"Professor, I think Linoka is right, This Crystal just might give us the Edge we need," Tyra said. "It’s completely stable."

"How long will it take to make a morpher?" Linoka asked.

"By luck I made extra frames when I made a new one for Kistra so not long," Tyra said. "Amelia’s notes were extremely complete. Give me three minutes I already uploaded the programming into the frames. Without the programming the morpher won’t function. The programming is shielded against magnets."

Tyra took the Crystal into the lab and a few minutes later brought out a morpher.

"You are lucky we have a zord available. I already tied it into the Programming for your morpher. I was going to give it Demona programming so that Candi could utilize it but You will probably need it," Tyra said.

"What are we waiting for," Linoka said as she put her morphers on the wrong wrists (But then Linoka is left handed). She then went into her Morphing Stance.

"Showtime," Linoka Howled. "Sapphire Zordonian Power."

"Kistra, help is on the way," Linoka said.

"Lynn, is that you?" Kistra asked sort of recognizing her sisters voice.

"Fight now answer stupid questions later," Linoka said so as to confuse her sister. "Nefertari Maximize."

The Single Tailed Jet then Turned into a Robot that looked similar to Nefertiti but with more bulk.

"Nightshade, which one should we destroy first?" Tara growled.

"How about neither one of us," Linoka said.

Catherine almost looked puzzled when her controller said.

"I think not," as she fired a beam at Nefertari.

"Sapphire Ranger Pulse Attack," Linoka called out.

"Violet Ranger Quasar Attack," Kistra commanded.

Two Beams of Energy started to overload the Control system in the Deathzord which quickly caused Catherine’s failsafes to kick in which basically meant that Catherine took flight and retreated.

"Hey wait for me," Myrra called out over Nightshade’s protests. This just left the Mummy Monster.

"Hey Tut think fast," Linoka said as she used a long Staff to make a quick swipe at the Monster a small section of bandage came loose. It gave Kistra an idea. She had Nefertiti bend down, pick up the loose bandage, give it a good hard pull which caused the Mummy Monster to come unglued, and ultimately explode. The Two Zords then took back to the Air and headed home.

"Oh man that was one tough battle," Kistra said after they were back in the War Room with the Demona Rangers.

"If anything that was our first true Victory. Every other time it started out looking like a victory but we would ultimately get our you know what’s handed to us," Kelly said as she attempted at getting her hair back in shape.

"Kistra, where will you and Linoka be attending School if anywhere?" Janet asked.

"We are done with school. We graduated from a high school on Earth. It was hard attending school and doing the Tournament circuit but we managed," Kistra said. "Speaking of my sister where is she hiding?"

All eyes except for Tyra, Alpha, Professor Damon, and Dr. Cummings looked over at the Still Morphed Sapphire Ranger. Figuring the jig was up the Sapphire Ranger took her helmet off.

"Thought so. Where did you find the other crystal?" Kistra asked.

"Your Crystal when you fired that first beam that ended up Deflected by the Scarlet Ranger’s zord came her and became the crystal that Linoka took so as to help you," Professor Damon explained. "How did you travel here."

"We used a small two seater craft that the people on Mirinoi happened to have on hand. Man was it ever a rust bucket. I was worried it wouldn’t even make it here," Linoka said.

"Sounds like it might have been one of the Old Demona Fighters that I/Oca developed. He called while you were off fighting and expects to be back tomorrow," Professor Damon said. "Have you made any lodging arrangements as of yet?"

"At the moment we are staying in the Penthouse of the Old Colony Astro Inn. When I said we were with Rangertech the manager offered it to us for Free," Kistra said. "Not only that but the cab driver from Settlement 9 to the hotel gave us a free ride after I tried to charge it to you guys. I was almost out of money after spending most of what I had buying fuel on Onyx."

"I’ll arrange for you to get reimbursed for the fuel. In the meantime we better see about getting you two a standard uniform issue along with the proper ID cards. Commander Frank Cummings handles the ID cards for new rangers," Professor Damon said.

Kistra took a look at Dr. Cummings as if to ask about relation.
