This Series was Created as Part of the 1st Anniversary Celebration of the Debut on June 10th 2000 of the 25th Brigade Fanfiction Site. A Site dedicated to the fictional 25th Brigade’s 56th Battalion. Those of you who are fans of the Power Rangers Demona probably noticed that another team from time to time towards the end showed up and that is the Geo Ranger Team on Earth. Yet no fanfics were ever available on them. Well That has Changed. Now before your very eyes the Origin of the Geo Rangers. Some bits will be taken from the Demona Fanfic A Period for Change.
One day a small Shuttle similar to a Shuttlecraft on Star Trek the next Generation was spotted coming up on the orbit of Pluto. Only one biological life sign was inside that of a Old Appearing Male about 2 meters tall With Red hair and slightly tired looking brown eyes. His only Companion was a small humanoid looking Android with simulated Reddish Brown Hair and painted on freckles. The android was only about the height of a typical 7 to 8 year old Human girl.
"Gamma, what’s the situation," the male asked his companion.
"Right now Zolkar it looks as if Taxicat is headed for Earth," Gamma responded.
"What could be going on there that would interest a villain like Taxicat?" Zolkar wondered. "Anything good in the news feeds?"
"It’s fairly quiet. The Demona Rangers are still split up while the Aerial Unit take the body of the late Sasha Stanton to Earth for Burial. Lord Wieskoph is still being a pain in the neck on Capsilon IX and it looks as if he might be following the Aerial Unit to Earth to ruin the Burial," Gamma said.
"Not good Gamma set course for Earth," Zolkar ordered.
"You got it Zolkar," Gamma said.
"Gamma while you are at it select a team of individuals with various skills to assist with the Defense of Earth."
"Any particular kind of individuals Zolkar?" Gamma wondered so she could select the best candidates.
"Use what ever judgement you can," Zolkar said knowing that what looked like your typical 2nd or 3rd grader was anything but since Gamma had been activated three years before.
"I’ll do my best Zolkar," Gamma said.
When they came into orbit six hours later Gamma’s research was almost ready.
"Zolkar, I have six candidates ready for your approval for the Geo Synchronization Project," Gamma said.
"OK Let me see your list," Zolkar said. "After we set up our base of operations. Set us down by Zordon’s old Command Center."
"Zolkar, the Command Center was destroyed back in Early 1998. By that time it was known as the Power Chamber and was under Dimitria’s control," Gamma reported.
"Then we will just have to rebuild it and quick," Zolkar said. "We will need to work fast for phase one of the Geo Synchronization Project."
"In that case I better use the Autobuilder," Gamma said.
Within no time or so it seemed the Power Chamber /Command Center was back up and running. It’s main Command Room looked like it did during the Days when Dimitria was in the House. The only thing missing was the Tube that first Zordon and later Dimitria inhabited.
"OK Gamma lets see your candidates," Zolkar said.
Six Profiles went up on the screen. Names appeared with them. The names were Brad Cox, William Cranston V, Sven Lucas, Heather Marconi, Pilar Rojas, Danielle Weaver. Most of the pictures were of Caucasian People except for Pilar who was Hispanic and Danielle who was African American.
"How many Geo Synchronizers do we have?" Zolkar wondered.
"We have six, One in Red, the others are Yellow, Pink, Green, Blue, and Purple," Gamma said.
"Where are these six located?" Zolkar wondered hoping they were in Angel Grove the nearest City to the Command Chamber as Zolkar had dubbed the base.
"Everyone is currently in Angel Grove but The Marconi Girl apparently has only been in the United States for two weeks from her home in Naples Italy," Gamma said.
"Gamma, have all but the Weaver Girl teleported here right away," Zolkar ordered giving approval of Gamma’s choices.
"You got it Zolkar," Gamma said using another device in the Chamber to interact with the profiles and set them to teleport five of the six individuals to the Chamber.
"Whoa what are we doing here?" The Dark Blond haired Male asked.
"I brought you due to a global emergency alert," Zolkar said. "Earth is mere moments away from war once again."
"Billy, what does he mean by a global emergency alert and how Earth is about to go to war once again?" the Hispanic girl wondered.
"I don’t know Pilar, Brad, You have any clue what he means?" the Dark Blond male asked their blond haired companion.
"None what so ever," Brad said.
An Alarm right then went off.
"Right now that alarm is going off because the Dark Lord is trying to prevent a group from a team on Capsilon IX from Burying a fallen comrade. This villain though is not the one likely to wage war on Earth," Zolkar said.
"Excuse me sir, but Who exactly are you and why if Earth is going to war and I assume you will be leading the troops fighting this war did you bring your granddaughter?" the dark haired male wondered.
"I am known as Zolkar, I won’t exactly be leading the troops fighting the war Sven but I will be acting as a mentor for the troops who are fighting the war. Oh and Gamma here is not my granddaughter. For one thing she isn’t a True Edenite like I am. Gamma is an android. She was simply built to give the impression that she is a human girl of about seven eight years of age."
"Edenite, what is an Edenite. Something out of the Old Testament?" Heather asked though it was in Italian.
"Actually everyone I am from the Planet Edenoi. Gamma was built on a Planet near there and activated three years ago," Zolkar explained.
Heather sprouted off another burst of Italian.
"What is she saying I can’t understand a word she said," Pilar said.
"Sorry Zolkar I thought everyone on Earth spoke a common language after all I monitored communications between Aerial Conveyances and their ground bases and no matter where the calls were made the same language was used," Gamma said.
"English the Universal Language of International Aviation. Most Planes and the towers at the Airports use English for the communications between them Regardless of the actual Language spoken in a particular country," Pilar said.
"Well I can solve that problem," Gamma said as she handed out small buttons. "Here just put these in your ears and hopefully it will solve the problem since for you five to be able to work together it will help if you can understand each other."
"Did the kid just tell us to stick it up our ear?" Sven asked giving the impression he was offended.
"I don’t think Gamma was being rude Sven. She is just trying to help us out. They are probably some sort of universal translator," Billy said.
"Give the Billmiester an A," Gamma joked.
The Rangers then but the devices in her ear.
"OK that is better," Heather said. "My English skills are still developing at a real slow rate. My family just moved here a couple weeks ago. So Zolkar who will the troops be fighting?"
"This Villain here Taxicat," Zolkar said as he used his Forehead Crystal to project an image of a Tall Real Dark Haired Male with Ears on top of his head and whiskers but no obvious fur except for that in the normal places for most species.
"HE does almost look like a cat," Billy observed. "SO who will be fighting Taxicat and why are you telling us?"
"We are telling you five Billy because it will be the five of you fighting Taxicat and his goons," Zolkar said. "His chief goon is named Rendab," Zolkar explained as he changed the image to Show a Similarly looking individual but with Red Hair and larger ears. "His drones are known as Kitatons."
The Kitatons looked more like cats then Taxicat or Rendab. Right down to their clawed hands.
"OK Zolkar, let me get this straight the five of us are supposed to defend Earth against a litter of rabid cats. With what?" Heather wondered.
"These Geo Synchronizers might help," Gamma said as she carried over five small wristbands with four buttons a piece. One button had an image of a microphone and a speaker on it. Another had an image of a person changing. A Third Button showed a person moving up at high speed. The other button showed a vehicle. The wristbands were a grayish color but compact with a slight hint of color.
"What good will these Geo Synchronizers be against Taxicat and his flunkies?" Brad wondered.
"These Geo Synchronizers are a key part of the Geo Synchronization Project. Unfortunately I’ve never seen them in use so I don’t know what they do exactly. Not even Zolkar knows exactly," Gamma said.
"Just Great WE are about to use something called a Geo Synchronizer in Battle against a Villain from another planet if not Universe and the guy we report to doesn’t know how they work. Well you can count me out," Brad said.
"It doesn’t really matter since the Lizardtrons have already been sent packing by the Demona Rangers here for their comrade’s funeral," Gamma said looking at a monitor.
"Well looks like we have some breathing space. How much I don’t know," Zolkar said. "Be ready for anything though."
"You got it Zolks," Sven said right before getting a very dirty look from Zolkar.
"Well I think we should keep these Synchronizers on hand just in case," Billy said as he picked up the blue trimmed Synchronizer. Pilar then picked up the Yellow trimmed one, Sven the Green one, Heather the Pink one, and finally Brad picked up the Red trimmed one.
Gamma then teleported the five teens out,
The next day the Alarm went off.
"Taxicat has sent a bunch of Kitatons to a section of Earth known as the Sudan. The Demona Rangers are already on hand but I think we should respond as well," Zolkar said after he summoned the five teens.
"How were the Demona Rangers able to respond so quickly?" Pilar wondered.
"One of their number apparently was in the Sudan for some reason."
"OK In that case I have a few words to say," Brad said. "Geo 5 Power Up." While he said this he hit the button that showed a person changing. "Red Geo Power."
Brad stood by as the Red Essence from his synchronizer came up and enveloped him before fading away to reveal Red colored armor along his chest arms and legs, White Boots, and gloves with blue waves on them and His helmet was almost Pure Yellow accept for Smoky Brown Screen over his eyes and the silvery plate over his nose and mouth. On his left shoulder was a picture of the Earth as it would look from space.
"Pink Geo Power," Heather barked as the Pink Essence covered her before fading to reveal her similar but Pink Colored Armor.
"Yellow Geo Power," Pilar growled as Her armor was formed by the Yellow Essence in her synchronizer.
"Blue Geo Power," Billy Howled as he was being encased in the blue essence within his synchronizer. The Only Difference was his boots and Gloves were more a grayish tone instead of white.
"Green Geo Power," Sven cackled as he was being coated and enarmored in a Green Essence. Like Billy his boots and gloves were of a grayish tone.
"Good Luck Geo Rangers," Zolkar said as they were teleporting to the Battle field.
"Greetings Fellow Rangers," Brad said.
"Have you been stationed here long?" The White Demona Ranger asked.
"We were forming up Yesterday when you were handling the battle. Where are you normally stationed?" Brad asked.
"Capsilon IX. The reason you don’t see a red ranger like us is we left five of our rangers there since we are having problems from a villain right now. As it is our Pink Ranger is new having replaced a previous one that was killed during a battle. This is only her second battle," The White Ranger said.
"What brought you to Earth?" Pilar asked.
"It was decided to bury our fallen comrade on Earth," The White Ranger replied a touch sadness in her voice.
"I see," Pilar replied.
"You aren’t that bad a fighter for it only being your second battle," Heather complimented the Pink Demona Ranger.
"Thanks," the other ranger replied. "Part of it I guess is personal since my family lives here Is this your first battle or something?"
"Yes it is. None of us were quite sure what to expect when we used our Geo Synchronizers for the first time."
"Is that something like a morpher?" the Pink Demona asked.
"Well I guess you could say that," Heather said.
The Battle was soon over. The Geo Rangers took the time to join their comrades on the Demona Ranger’s ship.
"Thanks for the Help," Brad said. "I’m Brad Cox.".
"Kim Coltran. You the leader of your team?" The White Ranger a Tall Blond haired girl asked.
"Yes I am," Brad said.
"Same here," Kim said. "Sue Collington over there used to be our Red Ranger and when she retired she turned leadership over to me." AS she said this Kim indicated a Tall Asian looking girl with a red Shirt on.
"Does your team have a Mentor?" Brad asked.
"Yes Powermatic of Demona Prime," Kim said.
"How did you end up with one of the Demona?" Brad asked.
"HE used to Mentor my grandparents," Sue said.
"Were your grandparents famous?" Brad asked.
"Plastica and Headset," Sue said.
"Unbelievable," Heather said.
"I agree," Pilar said. "Did you end up inheriting any of their powers at all?"
"My mom was adopted," Sue said. "My mom also had powers that dealt with teleportation but I managed not to inherit them so I have an interesting time Teleporting. Luckily Tyra when she developed our communicators added teleportation capabilities."
"I knew that we would have to Teleport periodically even when we worked out of R&D," Tyra an African American girl said.
"Who is your Red Ranger?" Heather asked.
"Kelly Brennan," Kim replied.
"She real tall with Brown Hair and bluish eyes?" Brad asked.
"Yeah so," Kim asked.
"I knew her before she left for Triforia we went to school together," Brad said.
"Heck you two were practically an item," Pilar said.
"I’ve heard of her at least," Sven said.
"Same here," Billy said.
"That leaves me out I’ve only been here a couple weeks," Heather said. She then walked up to her counterpart in Pink. "I’m Heather Marconi from Napoli Italia."
"I’m Kenya Lewis," the African girl said. "I went to an Academy on Eltare and was then Shangied to Capsilon IX since I was the top cadet."
"Janet, glad to see you back for a visit," Billy said on recognizing the Demona Ranger’s Purple Ranger.
"Oh Hi Billy," Janet a Reddish Blond haired girl said.
The other Rangers turned out to be Andrew Hammond a Blond haired Kerovian with red Hilites wearing black who was Janet’s Husband, Barakus a Triforian Prince in a Grayish color, Fran Fitzgerald a dark haired Caucasian girl in orange, Jim Blackwell a Brown Haired Caucasian male in a more Pronounced Gray and Candi Matthewson an African American girl in Yellow.
"Janet, how can you handle working with this Bunch. They don’t even know that the best team has five maybe six members?" Billy asked.
"One thing you didn’t inherit was our ancestor’s Brains just his name. Our enemies are so tough that we need all the people we can get," Janet said.
"Man Janet the Eltarians have made you brutal in more ways then one," Billy said.
"Care to spar cous?" Janet asked.
"No," Billy said.
"Whoa Janet, your cousin is one big chicken," Andrew said. "Wouldn’t know that from the Wedding."
"Janet, you used to have better taste in boyfriends," Billy said.
Kenya sent Billy flat on his back for that one.
"Thanks Kenya," Janet said.
"No Problem, Janet," Kenya said.
The Geo Rangers then Teleported back to the Command Chamber for a debriefing.
"Oh man was that something finding out that Brad’s girlfriend was a member of the visiting team along with Billy’s cousin," Heather said teasing her new teammates.
"So your first battle with a veteran team proved to be a success huh," Zolkar said.
"Yeah it was," Brad said. "Maybe next time we fight alongside the Demona’s Kelly will be along."
"Who is Kelly?" Gamma wondered.
"She is Brad’s girlfriend," Heather continued to tease.
"We were almost officially a couple when she transferred to the Triforian Academy for Rangering," Brad said. "Zolkar, think I could use the Chamber’s communications equipment to maybe call her sometime?"
"Brief calls only under five minutes," Zolkar said.
