Morgana’s Fall Part 2

On the Colony world of Capsilon IX several morphed figures are fighting. On one side are figures of White, Red, Green, Brown, Purple, Yellow, and Orange, on the other side is the assassin Nightshade and a Morphed being in a Scarlet colored Uniform.

"Oh Man these two are something else," The figure in White an old time ranger named Kim Coltran said.

"You aren’t kidding, Personally I wonder when the f’ing cavalry will arrive," Her red suited companion a girl name Kelly Brennan said.

"Less Chatter more fighting," the yellow suited individual a girl named Candace Matthewson said.

"Your Yellow Pal has a point," The Scarlet Ranger a normally nice girl named Tara Rimyard said.

Suddenly trouble struck as all but the Scarlet Ranger were force Demorphed. Also three platoons of Gold Suited Xenonites showed up. Kim was revealed to be a blond haired female, Kelly, a Dark haired Caucasian Female, Candace an African American female, and their Companions, formerly in Green was a Red headed male, in Brown a Blond haired male, in Purple a Reddish Blond Female, and finally in Orange a dark haired Caucasian Female.

"This is so not good," Fran the girl in an orange shirt said.

"I agree," Jake her brown shirted companion said.

"Ranger, Exomorph," Kim barked.

The Rangers went into position but noting happened except two more individuals one in a lighter purple Color and the other a deeper blue color came in and started attacking the Xenonites.

"Kistra, about time you and Linoka showed up," Kim said to the lighter purple ranger.

"Sorry Linoka and I were both in the shower," Kistra said. "In separate showers that is."

The battle went on for a couple hours but in the end they sent them packing.

"Professor, it’s a good thing that the Triforian duo showed up when they did because we were up the creek after everyone of us Force Demorphed," Kim said after they had teleported back to their base.

"Weird," Professor Damon said. "Tyra, did you or Christine pick up anything that could have caused it.

"That’s a big fat negative Professor," Christine responded.

"Professor, are you available to take a call from Fucilla?" I/Oca the bases technical assistant wondered from the communications station.

"I/Oca, I’m always available to take a call from Fucilla," Professor Damon responded hoping the Demona Fuser had an idea of what was going on.

"Powermatic, we are in the midst of a full blown crisis situation. I was lucky to get an open line to call you," Fucilla said.

"Something wrong?" the Professor wondered.

"Wrong is an understatement Powermatic. WE have received calls from all of over the place of Powereons losing their powers. It wouldn’t surprise me if Sgt. Hammond and Robert who we registered as being in this time period were also affected. Especially since it looks to be centered on their area. How are the Demona Rangers handling the Power failure?"

"It affected them," Professor Damon said.

"I figured as much," Fucilla said. "I managed to break through the block enough to activate a special function with Robert’s powers only. It’s known as Mega Transform. Simple armors like he has are affected by the block but Mega Transform should work."

The call ended right after that to show the Sword and Shield emblem of the Demona.

"I/Oca, see if you can get Robert on the comm. HE is with the Zordonian Team on Minosia," Prof. Damon ordered.

"Guardian Fortress," two individuals said both had Blond hair but one was very imposing

"Sereia, April, are either Robert or Andrew on hand?" Professor Damon wondered.

"Most everyone is in Battle including Robert and Andrew. We have a major Senturion Presence here at the moment so I have a feeling that several of the villains could end up in the slam. Two of the Shadow Senshi tried to assassinate me earlier," Usagi the Meatball head responded.

"Get word to him with this message. RG Am Aware of Problem. Block only affects powers and simple armors. Fucilla is working on breaking through the block. Complex armors like Mega Transformation aren’t affected. Give it a Try. PPD. Mark it Critic Priority," Professor Damon ordered.

Right then in the Palace Debbie Purdue walked in.

"Debbie, if possible could you take that silly hover car and deliver this message to Robert. It’s critic level so he needs it right away," Sereia said.

‘OK but if he literally bites my head off it’s your fault," Debbie said as she headed off.

She returned a short time later.

"Well your head is still attached," Aphrealle noted.

"Man was he ever p.o’ed that I even showed up. Yet I took down one hundred enemy troops. OK so I also knocked down two of our side but hey the hover car still isn’t tuned right," Debbie reported.

"Part of it was probably stress since he probably isn’t used to being without his powers in a major battle," Aphrealle said.

Once the Battle was over and the Casualty report finished Robert made a comm call that didn’t really please him to have to make.

"Hammond Residence," Janet said.

"Janet, it’s Robert."

"Andrew has been wounded in action here on Minosia. His right shoulder is broken and well he has a sixty percent chance of ever walking again," Robert reported.

"What was the cause of his injuries?"

"The broken Shoulder was caused by Lady Morgana kicking it and the Spinal injury was caused by one of her troops kicking him hard. WE eventually managed to arrest Lady Morgana but some of her generals had escaped capture and freed her before she reached the Maximum Security Prison to await transfer to Titus III," Robert reported. "What made it worse is he wouldn’t have gotten injured had he been able to morph."

"What about you?" Janet wondered.

"Nothing I even tried that device Tyra gave me that time in the Lost Galaxy. This is the third maybe fourth time my powers have given me trouble so I don’t blame you if you are steamed that Andrew couldn’t morph," Robert said.

"Does he have a chance on Earth of being able to continue with the Police Force?" Janet wondered.

"IF he recovers maybe something can be arranged where he could work limited duty. IF he doesn’t recover I doubt it. One good example is Rocky DeSantos. He injured his back in a tournament and had to retire from his day job," Robert said.

"What was his day job?" Janet wondered.

"He was the Blue Zeo Ranger," Robert reported.

"Robert, could you pass on to my husband that he is an idiot and I hope he recovers fully because if he doesn’t the marriage will be over," Janet growled at him.

Andrew meanwhile was in his hospital room talking to his Captain.

"Well Andrew it could have a pretty big effect on your duties. For one thing the List of potential candidates for promotion to Lieutenant came out from headquarters this morning," his captain informed him.

"So, what does that have to do with me?" Andrew wondered.

"Chief Kaolin had placed your name near the top of the list I think you were ranked six out of thirty candidates. Make note your name was the only name with our office to make the list," Captain Griff reported.

"Blast that b***h costing me probably my best chance at a promotion by causing me to get injured bad enough that I’ll probably end up leaving the force," Andrew said.

"I hope that doesn’t end up happening. I lack a Lieutenant at this office since Chief Kaolin never assigned a Lieutenant to the office after naming me to head it following Chief Roxwood’s assassination. It was my plan after you were promoted for you to be my Deputy Commander. Let’s face it Andrew you deserve your own station somewhere," Captain Griff said.

"Captain, if I end up retiring what will you do for a Deputy?" Andrew wondered.

"I will probably have as have the Chief send me a Deputy Commander," the captain responded. "Let me say this much Sergeant. I’m praying for your recovery. Besides I’ll talk to Assistant Chief Doug Mannington see if I can plea your case. I wouldn’t assume you’ve lost out yet on that promotion."

Morgan meanwhile was in her castle plotting her next move.

"Melanie, according to your report that Idiot that first tried to arrest me is hospitalized," Morgana said.

"Oh yes my queen. You know we should almost try to recruit that girl who took out those two Senturions after all our numbers are diminished," Melanie reported.

"What do we have available for troops?" Morgan wondered.

"About 150 Wraiths but we are out of Damox. That Fool with the armor took out the last of our Damox. As far as Negarian Enforcers, Only Cordelia, Quinneviere, Devin, and I remain," Melanie reported.

"Well Melanie, I think the time has come for my Most Glorious Idea yet. Tomorrow One hour after the Sun Apexes we will attack the Guardian Fortress. The other side couldn’t possibly beat us," Morgan promised.

"Especially since they took casualties of their own," Melanie commented.

The next day Rayno came home from the hospital but wasn’t in a fighting condition.

"Rayno, until you are able to recover you won’t be battling Morgan," Sereia said.

"But my Princess, that just leaves you and Setea other then the rangers," Rayno complained.

"Rayno, we can’t risk it. Besides Morgana suffered Heavy losses in yesterdays battle. She will need time to regroup. Maybe by then Aphrealle and Amelia will have found a way to free Amika and the others from the orbs effects," Usagi said.

That afternoon Sereia was meeting with Robert, Michelle, Amelia, Aphrealle, Chiana, Krystal, the Senturion Commander, and Setea when a Fortress controller walked in.

"Princess Sereia, we have detected Negarian activity. I recommend we go to alert status," the controller said.

"Where?" Sereia wondered not sure if alert status was really necessary.

"Princess Sereia the Palace is Surrounded by what we can only determine to be Shadow Wraiths. Morgana and her remaining Generals are within the Wraith perimeters," The Controller said.

"For a situation this bad you didn’t need my authorization for alert status," Sereia screamed. "You should have just initiated it."

"My mistake My Princess but my supervisor said to always check with you on these matters," The Controller said as he backed out of the room. A few seconds later the Klaxons were going off all over the Palace. The remaining Rangers and Minosian Cadets came running in. Rayno more like Hobbled in.

"What’s going on?" Tyrone wondered as he was fastening his Uniform jacket.

"The Palace is under attack," Michelle said. "Ranger Eclipsed."

"Red Zordonian Power" A Red Light Covered Michelle before forming into a Red Cybernetic Armor which was Forty Percent Stronger then the basic armor and was also shinier. Her Helmet Resembled a Raven. There wasn’t a Color Difference in her gloves and boots.

"Pink Zordonian Power" Amelia was bathed in Pink light before it formed her cybernetically enhanced armor. Like Michelle her gloves and boots had stayed the same color as her basic morph. Her helmet though resembled a Jaguar.

"Blue Zordonian Power" The Blue Light flowed over Bobby and when it went off His Helmet resembled an Owl and everything else was the same except for the basic color.

"Green Zordonian Power" Greg held back the shock as the Green Light encompassed him. HE was pleased when the Hyena appeared on his helmet and was glad he still had his silver gloves and boots.

"Yellow Zordonian Power" Marsha felt the Yellow Light bath her in glory as her Rattlesnake helmet appeared and then her Yellow cybernetic armor flowed down ending with her silver boots.

"White Zordonian Power" Roxanne was bathed in White Light with a Minx on her helmet and the same basic color to her boots and gloves.

"Purple Zordonian Power" Vanessa relaxed as she was bathed in Purple Light. The Horse appearing on her helmet and her purple cybernetically enhanced armor flowing down to turn into purple boots and her gloves white.

"Orange Zordonian Power" Mitsu held on as Orange Light bathed her as it formed her cybernetically enhanced armor and her helmet took on the appearance of a cheetah.

"Teal Zordonian Power" Andrea felt the rush as the Light Encircled her from Head to toe. Her Teal helmet resembling her ancestor’s green helmet. The Cybernetic Rush of her enhanced armor felt refreshing.

"Platinum Zordonian Power" Sarah had a slight smile as she was bathed in a Grayish White Light. Her helmet taking on the look of a fox. The cybernetic enhancements even helped her be ready for action.

"Mahogany Zordonian Power" The Warrior peered into space as a Mahogany Light surrounded him. His Armor looked like Normal Ranger armor right down to Condor appearance of his helmet. His gloves and boots had a whitish look.

The next light show was of Sereia, Setea, and the Minosian Cadets also Transforming. Michelle looked toward Robert.

"Well what is the status on your powers?" she queried knowing they needed everyone they could get.

"Primary powers still down. I’d rather not relay on Mega Transform especially since Morgana would watch for it being aware of that tactic," Robert said.

Geraldina knowing the extent of the battle didn’t transform and afterwards she and Katina headed for the room where Nura was still encased in the crystal. Robert went onto a Parapet with Rayno.

"This really bites. Here you are powerless and I’m too injured to fight," Rei complained.

"I know but it’s probably better this way. Especially if I can find a way to break through the block enough to be able to at least Power Up even if I can’t use any of my fancier equipment. Hum Rei, I have a sneaky plan stay here," Robert said as he checked the charge and setting on his weapon.

"What are you going to do?" Rayno wondered.

"Your better off not knowing Rayno," Robert said.

Robert then enlisted some help from Geraldina sneaking into the hangar through a tunnel that connected it with the Fortress. One there he headed for Airtron and located his old zord. He then boarded it removing several silvery colored sections.

"With the autocall apparently tied into my powers I can’t summon it but I can’t see any reason I can’t manually place the armor on," Robert thought as he started to put the armor on. He saved the helmet for last as he slipped back through the tunnel to the palace. At a side entrance he had Katina open the door as he placed the helmet over his head causing instant invisibility. Now concealed from view he slipped around looking for a few key targets. The first one he found was the Green Enforcer; He then fired his weapon at her knocking her out. Continuing to go around he stepped on a few Wraith Tentacles and then roundhouse kicked them. He almost walked right into The Ice Blue Enforcer but he blasted her first.

"What was that?" Krystal wondered when she saw the enemy agent go down.

"Couldn’t tell you," Conoa said as she knocked a couple wraiths bulbous heads together. Mitsu meanwhile was trying to see how much damage she could do with her tiger claws. The Gold Enforcer tripped Robert since she somehow sensed his presence and in response was blasted in the back. Sereia watched the attack and wondered what was up. Amelia meanwhile was getting nailed by about twelve Wraiths as well as The Red Enforcer. To make matters worse her Chacron wasn’t doing any good. Greg and Bobby quickly came to her aid but it didn’t seem to help any. It did become easier after The Red Enforcer was struck by a beam from Robert’s weapon. HE then took out enough wraiths to ease things up a little. Morgana up ahead is about to take out The Plum Guardian but Robert was going too quickly and tripped over a downed Senturion unit.

"What the," the Unit said since he was still conscious.

Robert accidentally fired his phaser when he fell and it hit Morgana.

In the Healing Chamber the Orbs over the other Minosian Guardians suddenly shattered after Morgana was knocked unconscious. Amika was the first one to fully recover. Heida next followed by Mickeala, Annia, Harlo, and Mika.

"What is that?" Heida wondered.

"Sounds like a battle," Amika said. "BITE, where is the battle?"

"The entire area surrounding the Guardian Fortress is one big battlefield," BITE responded. "Glad you are back Amika."

"BITE, I’m glad to be back," Amika said. "Well gang, we better see what we can do. I imagine Rei and Usagi are a little tired about now."

"Usagi brought in a team of rangers," BITE reported.

"Still we better go into action," Amika said.

By this time the long slumbering Guardians were in the Corridor where Geraldina and Katina were walking past.

"Geraldina, how come you and Katina aren’t fighting?" Mika wondered.

"My powers were affected by the orbs and I haven’t been able to transform for long. And Kat hasn’t been able to transform at all," Geraldina reported.

"Not good. I assume Sereia and Rayno are in battle," Ami said.

"Sereia is along with the other Minosian Cadets but Rayno was injured in Battle yesterday and can’t fight," Katara reported.

"We better Transform then and get out there," Ami said.

Meanwhile on the Battlefield things were happening fairly quickly for one thing Robert felt a renewed energy.

"What is going on?" he wondered. "Showtime Plastica Style."

With the armor in place the flash of light was muted but Robert could tell that he had been able to Power Up.

"Fantastic, Plastica is back in Action."

This was said as The Red and Gold Guardians wake up.

"That shouldn’t be must be my weapon needs more of a charge then I thought," Plastica figured as he saw a figure move in next to him.

"Who are you?" Plastica asked.

"Amika better known as the the Ice Blue Guardian," the figure said.

Heida meanwhile had headed immediately for Chiana.

"Here let me give you a hand," she said.

"Heida, is that you?" Chiana wondered since she wasn’t sure if she was hallucinating or if it was a bad dream.

"I won’t be able to sleep for a couple weeks but yes," Heida said as she nailed a couple wraiths.

Sereia really needed help which Mika and Annia provided.

"Unbelievable," Sereia said when she saw her friends. She looked around and even saw Sailor Solar in Battle.

With the sudden influx of reinforcements the tide was soon turned enough that the Senturions could get close enough to handcuff the prisoners.

An hour later things had quieted down enough that a Prison Shuttle was able to land. The first person off had a head something like an elephants.

"Chief Kaolin," Andrew said from the hover chair he was aboard having been released from the hospital after the battle.

"Sergeant," the IGPF chief said. "IF you are worried about my being angry that you had disobeyed my orders not to get injured I’m a little upset but according to the Blue Senturion you were injured after the Senturions arrived."

"I was sir. Morgana caused my shoulder to break and a Damox gave me the back injury," Andrew said. "What’s to become of Morgana and the Negarian Enforcers?"

"Morgana will be taken on this shuttle straight to Titus III to serve a life sentence for her crimes. The Intergalactic Courts handed it down already. Jennifer Powell, Melanie Eastburg, and the others will be sent to various Maximum Security Prisons among the Council Worlds. It is our plan to insure that they can’t easily plan a prison break," Kaolin reported. "Sergeant, take a few months to recover from your injuries and then depending on how much you recovered we will determine your next move."

"Yes Sir Chief," Andrew said.

Another week was spent with small skirmishes among wraiths and the occasional Damox that not even Morgana had known were around. At the end of that week though the Rangers started to load their gear back aboard Airtron. Robert took the time to load Andrews gear for him and also Debbie’s. Debbie’s gear he placed in the rooms that Sereia has used during the trip. He and Tyrone ended up with Quarters aboard the Cruiser since rooms were sparse. The Midnight was also unloaded and Andrea’s hovercar was loaded and Andrea made sure to put the keys were Debbie couldn’t get them.

"It’s too bad the final Guardian wasn’t freed from the orbs effects," Robert said since Nura better known as Black Guardian was still encased within her crystalline prison.

"Maybe someday," Rayno said. "Maybe someday."

They then headed for the bridge.

"Debbie, you mind assisting me with take off?" Andrew wondered since his right arm was still incapacitated.

"Sure Andrew," Debbie responded.

There were groans all around at the thought of Debbie Flying the ship. They survived the week though and soon as they arrived in orbit of Capsilon IX they had Airtron convert back to it’s normal mode were it landed in a spot of ocean close to the base. Andrea took her hover car off herself but Andrew had FREDA teleport the Jet Cycles and Andrew’s squad car off the carrier and into the Parking lot. The Rangers then gathered around and teleported to the Command Bunker.

Their point of teleportation placed them in the lower lounge and they walked up to the War Room. Aphrealle almost jumped back onto Amelia’s foot.

"Mother careful behind you," Amelia said.

"Well well look, who’s here," Aphrealle said noticing what to her was a familiar blond haired girl.

"Mom, I’ve been up here for close to three weeks. Not in the old Relay Station persay but on the surface," the girl said.

"Professor, I assume you Alpha, and I/Oca are aware of who she is," Aphrealle commented.

"Yes we are as is Amelia’s family along with Connorsons," Professor Damon said.

"OK it’s sort of a long story but as most of you know I lived on Earth for a while up until Amelia was a baby. Well at the time I left Earth I was pregnant with another child. If it had been up to me I wouldn’t have left Earth and today most of us would be living different lives. The child I was pregnant with is my youngest daughter Alexis who happens to be standing over by the Zord control computer," Aphrealle explained.

"Mom, if you wonder how I’ve managed to survive the time since I came to the surface it’s because when you and the Blue Ranger left and I left I had spent a lot of time designing a way for me to be able to survive up here in the slightly different air pressure and gravity," Alexis said as she walked over.

Two teleportation streams then arrived to reveal a Morphed Kistra and Linoka.

"Hey Hey the Gangs all here," Linoka said.

"Aren’t you going to take the time to demorph so we will know who we will be working with?" Michelle wondered.

"We’ll demorph later," Kistra said.

Roxanne though had slipped up behind the reluctant violet ranger and ripped off her helmet. The look on Vanessa’s face was something else.

"You are the last person I figured I would see in a ranger uniform," Vanessa said.

"Hey what am I chopped liver?" Linoka joked as she removed her own helmet and shook her hair out.

"No more like scum," Roxanne said as she got into a minor scuffle with Kistra that quickly moved downward as Mitsu opened the door down into the pool. They rolled down the stairs and right into the pool landing in the water just as a whistle was heard from Professor Damon.

"All right gang lets quiet down. Now I know that there is bad blood between the Jackson Twins and Kistra and Linoka but just consider one thing we are a team," Professor Damon said.

"Lynn, how come you and Kistra were morphed when you arrived?" Vanessa wondered figuring if she was civil with Linoka then maybe Roxanne would also be civil.

"We were in battle. Our old buddy Nightshade and her lackey," Linoka responded. "An evil ranger."

"How much do you know about this ranger?" Aphrealle wondered.

"She is the Scarlet Ranger. Her zord is Catherine the War Zord. We are assuming she is female but we could be wrong," Kistra said as she reentered the War Room.

"Did you say Scarlet Ranger. What kind of morpher does he or she have?" Aphrealle wondered.

"One night someone sedated Tyra and Christine during a sensor reboot and stole two morpher halves from the lab. It was right after that the Scarlet Ranger first appeared."

"We are in Big Trouble," Aphrealle said. "It sounds like the Scarlet Ranger draws power from the Scarlet Zordoniam Crystal which is extremely unstable. Linoka, your crystal isn’t one of the original crystals where did yours come from?"

"Kistra’s crystal bled off some power during her first battle and it created mine," Linoka said.

"I already explained that we had used the Violet Crystal in an experiment back at the temple to try to increase the power," Alexis said.

"Alexis, I have quarters here if you want to venture downstairs and chat in private," Amelia said.

"Maybe later," Alexis said.

That night Dr. Cummings prepared a big meal. Michelle, Andrea, and Amelia were glad to be able to slip into the pool.

"Mom, is Kelly still around?" Amelia wondered.

"She left to return to Triforia yesterday afternoon. The two new rangers figured they could handle things for the time being until you all returned," Dr. Cummings said. About this time Patricia and Alexis had joined them.

"Amelia, did my existence surprise you at all?" Alexis inquired.

"A little. I take it you knew about me," Amelia said.

"Yeah actually I did. I always knew about you. Heck I was little upset that the professor didn’t send you instead of what’s his name Bobby your blue colleague," Alexis said.

"Yeah Bobby is the Blue Ranger. Greg the green ranger is my boyfriend and Marsha the Yellow ranger is dating Tyrone who is the newest we had with us," Amelia said.

"That guy Robert how long will he be around?" Alexis wondered.

"I’m not sure originally he was going to stay in our time until things were under control on Lunar but who knows with the Scarlet Ranger out there we may need him a while longer," Amelia said.

"Who is in charge of your team?" Alexis wondered.

"I am but your sister is 2^nd in command," Michelle said.

"I’m surprised Amelia isn’t in charge," Alexis said.

"Believe it or not I almost was," Amelia said.

"Amelia, don’t worry I didn’t raid your closet, for one thing none of your stuff would fit me also I’m more into blue’s then pink," Alexis said.

"Alexis, did my mom tell you how I was a Jr. Ranger when I first got here three years ago?" Amelia wondered.

"No your cousin did," Alexis said.
