One day Heather Marconi was sitting at a table in the youth center with Gamma when her friend Danielle Weaver walked over.

"Heather, have you noticed anything weird around lately?" Danielle wondered.

"Danielle, I’ve only been in the States maybe six weeks everything seems weird to me still," Heather said.

"I was referring to that lady with all the kittens. Man she must have close to a hundred kittens looking for a home. Our Neighbor Mrs. Glanklin was telling my mom how Such a thing shouldn’t be possible because that would require far more cats then the Public Heath Department would allow in one place no matter how big it is. Even a breeder would have trouble breeding that many," Danielle said.

"Doesn’t Mrs. Glanklin work for the City as an animal control officer?" Heather wondered as Gamma slipped her a note.

"Heather,

If your friends count is accurate it sounds like Taxicat is up to no good," the note said.

"Yeah she does. Yet she checked the records and no one has complained about this lady. What is really weird is they can’t find a name or address on her. Without that they can’t even pay her a visit. The SPCA and Humane Society together have maybe forty cats at any one time looking for homes and even that is a struggle," Danielle said.

"You know I just remembered I have to take Cammi shopping for school clothes see you around," Heather said.

They then headed for a secluded area. Danielle suspicious followed them from a distance and once again noticed them teleporting away.

"There is that weird effect again," Danielle said.

Heather and Gamma came out of Teleport at the Command Chamber.

"Something up?" Zolkar wondered.

"Possibly, My friend Danielle finds this one lady with about a hundred kittens looking for homes weird. I used the excuse of taking Gamma shopping for School Clothes in order to slip away and come here to report to you," Heather said.

"Yeah what was up with that?" Gamma wondered since she knew Danielle was a candidate for ranger powers.

"I couldn’t exactly tell her we were going to talk to Zolkar and well I figured she would add your name to her weirdness file so I came up with a covername for when you leave the command center," Heather said.

"Zolkar, it sounded like Kitonia is up to her usual tricks," Gamma said.

"Who or What is Kitonia?" Heather wondered.

"Kitonia is probably Taxicat’s most loyal and valuable servant after Rendab. Kitonia is the Mother Cat of his entire army of Kitatons. While they are the size of normal kittens when born they grow quick. A Kitaton can reach full size within two months of birth. When did this lady start coming around?" Zolkar wondered.

"Don’t know, If Taxicat is involved It’s my guess she has only been around about a month. How often does she have a litter?" Heather wondered.

"She herself breeds every three months producing twelve kittens two fresh queens and ten toms. It’s the Toms that Taxicat uses as Foot Soldiers. The Queens start their own production usually three months after reaching full maturity," Gamma explained.

"Not good that could give him a huge army of Kitatons in no time at all. Zolkar, we better find out exactly when she started distributing her babies among the populace," Heather said.

"Agreed," Zolkar said. "You better get back shopping and keep your eyes peeled."

Heather and Gamma then headed for a mall. At one point while looking at dresses for Gamma to wear Heather spotted Danielle’s mother and little sister. Danielle’s sister was six and pretty fun. In fact Brianne Weaver tended to hang with Heather’s own sister who was that age even if Hallie’s twin brother tended to get excluded. At one point they spotted a lady with a bunch of kittens in a huge box. Gamma in keeping with her cover got excited.

"Heather, you think mom and dad would scream if we brought a kitten home?" Gamma pleaded.

"Cammi, we probably should check with mom and dad first. Besides we have a perfectly good cat at home," Heather said. Of course Gamma was already by the box reaching in and grabbing one of the furry bundles within.

"Your sister seems to be a real cat fan," the woman said as Heather walked up.

"Cammi, I already said we would have to check with mom and dad before we brought another cat home," Heather said.

"Yet she is cute. If I promised to take care of it you think it would help?" Gamma pleaded.

"Cammi, you can’t even keep your room clean so I doubt they would buy that line," Heather said having seen Gamma’s charging room at the Command Chamber.

Gamma grabbed her pad and pen and wrote a quick note.

"Heather

keep it up for a couple minutes then finally relent I want to scan this kitten at the Chamber. My internal sensors are picking up something suspicious," the note said.

"What if I kept my room clean in addition to promising to take care of it," Gamma pleaded.

"Yeah right Cammi," Heather said. "Besides your grades in school last year weren’t the best."

"Well I had the most dumb teacher in the whole stupid school back in Naples," Gamma said knowing kids her age weren’t known for using proper grammar.

"That’s dumbest teacher Cammi, Signora Prito was a very good teacher you just had trouble with her style," Heather said.

"Well I’m ready let’s go," Gamma said as she walked away the kitten in her hands.

"Kids, why my parents had to have five kids after me I don’t know," Heather said. Shortly after that they were back in the bunker where Gamma headed for a laboratory while Heather spoke with Zolkar.

"IS Gamma ever a good actress. She almost had me convinced she was a real second maybe third grader," Heather said.

"What Gamma doesn’t know is I took the time to get her registered for school so she could learn about Earth and their ways," Zolkar said.

"She won’t like that at all," Heather commented.

"Who knows she might," Zolkar said.

"Zolkar, Heather, I found a few clues here," Gamma called out.

"What did you find Gamma?" Zolkar wondered as they entered the lab a minute later.

"This kitten is no Felis Domesticus. It’s definitely born of Kitaton genetics. Not only that Zolkar but it’s Genetic Code has been altered for a more rapid maturity," Gamma said.

"Not good," Heather said.

"This definitely falls under our jurisdiction," Zolkar said.

"Zolkar, you want to know something really interesting about this one?" Gamma wondered.

"What?" Zolkar and Heather both asked simultaneously.

"It’s female," Gamma reported.

"Is that good?" Heather wondered.

"Well Fully grown females are aggressive but only if they suspect a kitten is in danger. Males are real aggressive which is why they are the warriors. All the kitatons you rangers have been fighting are male," Zolkar explained. "Speaking of which we better summon Brad and the others."

A few minutes later every one met up in the main chamber.

"SO what’s the scoop Zolks?" Sven asked earning him as always a dirty look.

"Rendab isn’t Taxicat’s only servant. He has other servants like Kitonia. Kitonia is a female Kitaton. In fact it is with Kitonia’s help that Taxicat formed his Kitaton Army," Zolkar explained.

"So," Brad said.

"Brad, Kitonia is trying to take advantage of one thing earth children can’t resist. The desire for a pet. She is trying to distribute her kittens among the population of Angel Grove. When first born according to

Zolkar they are the size of a normal kitten on Earth they reach Full size within a couple months. Gamma analyzed one of the kittens and it’s growth rate was increased. Gamma, what is your estimate on growth?" Heather inquired.

"One to two weeks," Gamma reported.

"The cat lady first showed up two days ago," Sven said.

"That cat lady is no lady but a disguised Kitonia," Gamma said.

"Not good really not good," Pilar said.

"I agree Pilar," Zolkar said.

"Just to be on the safe side I put the kitten I analyzed in a protective field in the hopes it would slow down the growth process but I’m not expecting much in the way of results," Gamma explained.

"What we need is a way to track Kitonia," Billy said.

"Already on it Billmiester," Gamma said.

"That’s good to know," Billy said.

Ten minutes later a location came up on the screen.

"OK I know the area," Brad said. "Kelly and I went there one time on a picnic."

The Rangers then teleported out unmorphed. Sure enough the lady with the Kittens was there.

"Hi there, any of you interested in a kitten?" the lady asked trying to sound innocent.

"My sister Rosa wants a kitten real bad but I think I’ll get her a normal kitten instead of a Kitaton Kitten," Pilar said.

"My kittens are harmless," the lady said.

"Maybe now but what about a couple weeks from now?" Heather asked.

"Even then they will be harmless," the lady said.

Something doesn’t seem right. Her cover is blown completely those kittens even look exactly like the one Gamma chose at the mall. This calls for drastic measures.

Heather then removed her universal translator.

"Ciao Signora Mi Nomo es Heather," she said.

"I’m Kitana Brooks," the lady said.

Heather then put her translator back in place.

"Funny I heard somewhere your name was Kitonia," Heather countered.

"Blast how did you find out my identity?" the lady asked as she changed into a Tall Female Feline with Orangish Fur all over her body.

"This is how," Heather said. "Brad you mind?"

"Go right ahead Heather," Brad said giving his permission/

"Geo 5 Power Up," Heather barked.

"Red Geo Power."

Brad stood by as the Red Essence from his synchronizer came up and enveloped him before fading away to reveal Red colored armor along his chest arms and legs, White Boots, and gloves with blue waves on them and His helmet was almost Pure Red except for Smoky Brown Screen over his eyes and the silvery plate over his nose and mouth. On his left shoulder was a picture of the Earth as it would look from space.

"Pink Geo Power," Heather barked as the Pink Essence covered her before fading to reveal her similar but Pink Colored Armor.

"Yellow Geo Power," Pilar growled as Her armor was formed by the Yellow Essence in her synchronizer.

"Blue Geo Power," Billy Howled as he was being encased in the blue essence within his synchronizer. The Only Difference was his boots and Gloves were more a grayish tone instead of white.

"Green Geo Power," Sven cackled as he was being coated and enarmored in a Green Essence. Like Billy his boots and gloves were of a grayish tone.

"Power Rangers," Kitonia realized. "Taxicat did mention Zolkar was nearby."

Immediately the fight broke out.

"She is tough," Pilar commented after a few minutes.

"You’re telling me," Sven said as he tried to escape a choke hold Kitonia had put on him.

"I’ll help you Sven," Billy called out his issue blaster in hand. HE then Blasted Kitonia in the tail. This caused her to lose her grip on Sven.

"Why are you distributing your kittens to innocent people around town?" Brad asked as he held his blaster over Kitonia’s fallen form.

"Easy Ranger as they grow and Mature they will help my master in his takeover of first Angel Grove and then the world," Kitonia said.

"Not if we have anything to say about it," Brad said.

"You don’t even look like you could hurt a fly Ranger," Kitonia taunted him.

"Watch me," Brad said. Brad then fired on the box of kittens frying a few of them.

"My precious kittens. Why are you hurting my kittens?" Kitonia asked a pleading sound in her voice.

"Because Kitonia it’s my job to protect Angel Grove from your kittens," Brad told her. "Ranger’s you got your weapons ready?"

"You bet Brad," Sven said as the Rangers brought forth their personal weapons. For Pilar the Geo Crossbow, For Heather the Geo stilettos, Billy had the Geo Lance, Sven the mighty Geo Hatchet. Brad the Infamous Geo Sabre.

"In That Case Lets bring them together," Brad said. Pilar then connected her sword to Sven’s Hatchet while Billy attached his lance across the bow lengthwise. Heather then attached her stilettos to the interface made by the bow and the Lance. Finally Brad loaded his sword into the barrel point first.

"Say By By Kitonia," Brad called out as they aimed at the vicious kitty.

"Oh I will but this fight isn’t over with yet," Kitonia said as she teleported away.

The Ranger’s then teleported back to the Command Chamber.

"Blast she got away?" Brad growled.

"That does happen from time to time. Next time though I bet you’ll get her," Gamma said.

"Oh We will Gamma you can count on that," Brad said. "How is our guest doing in the lab?"

"Oh Zarius She is doing good. I did some more scans while you were fighting. Apparently what they eat at this age is real critical to their development into ordinary Kitatons. Kitonia apparently has a special food she feeds them. IF she had ordinary cat food Zarius would hopefully develop like a normal cat," Gamma explained.

"Where did you come up with a name like Zarius sounds Greek or something?" Pilar asked.

"It could be common where ever Greek is but the Zarius I named her after was a famous Edenite Warrior who fought alongside Prince Dex against Count Dregon," Gamma said.
