Carri Hillard is sitting in the Youth Center, with her friends surrounding her, watching the National Trials, the competition before the National Finals which determines who goes to the Pan Global Games.

"Look at that finish for Jenny! That should get a good score. I'd say at least a 9.7.", said the ABC announcer, Bart Conner

"All these gymnasts are too short! I want a good looking gymnast!", exclaimed one of Carri's friends, Matt Drake

"Oh wait! There's a candidate!", said Jerry Millwood as he pointed at the screen

"Look guys, if you're going to watch, do you mind not talking about the good looking girls?", Carri asked

"She's right. We have our own girls in Angel Grove.", said John Blackmond

"Kiss butt!", yelled Luke Wright

"You know it.", John confirmed

"And Kimberly Heart's floor is nearly flawless. Nobody would be more surprised than me if she didn't make it to the Pan Global Games.", said Bart. "And here's Jenny's score, a 9.75. As for Kim... Wow! I haven't seen a score this high since the Olympics! She earned a 9.910!"

"I could do that.", joked Carri

"Prove it!", yelled Matt

Carri shrugged her shoulders. "Ok."

Carri walked over to the mat usually used for sparring. She walked to the edge just like she was a real gymnast.

"Go Carri!", yelled Jerry

Carri ran a few steps did a cartwheel, and a backflip. Then she threw her hands up like she would in a routine.

"Ta da!", she announced proudly

"Well, not gymnastic material but a ten for effort.", said John

"Kiss butt.", Luke announced once again

"Um, I give it a ten for looks.", said Matt

"Not the flip's looks, but yours.", Jerry joked

Carri walked off the mat and hit him on the shoulder.

"I was trying to be nice.", he said

As they were turning around to leave, someone came up to the mat and did a cartwheel, two backflips plus a full twist and a handspring.

The whole Youth Center cheered.

"I think she's better.", said Jerry

He was playfully hit again by Carri as she walked up onto the mat and got into this strangers face.

"Excuse me. Who do you think you are coming into the Youth Center like that and showing me up in my place in front of my friends?", she asked

"Because you suck and anyone who had half a brain could show you up.", she said getting back in Carri's face

"Oh yeah?", Carri asked

"Yeah.", she said

They stared at each other for a minute before the stranger extended her hand.

"Kimberly Heart. Former resident of Angel Grove.", said Kim

"Carri Hillard.", said Carri extending her hand with her communicator on it

They shook hands as Kim pulled Carri in close to her and whispered something into her ear.

"Original Pink Ranger. And from you attire, I'd say you're the newest to wear yellow.", said Kim

Carri nodded her head in agreement. Then she spoke out loud. "Well in that case, you can hang with me."

"How privileged.", Kim said sarcastically

The two new friends went and found a table. Carri's other friends came, but left after a few minutes.

"Carri, we've gotta go.", said Matt

"Spring soccer practice.", Luke told her

"Sucks huh?", said John

"Hey, I had fall baseball practice.", Carri informed them

"Oh yeah. I forgot. Well, we really have to go if we don't want to get our butts kicked.", said John

"Bye.", said Carri

"Bye!", they yelled as they walked out the door

"Who are they?", asked Kim

"Some friends from Angel Grove High who think you're hot.", Carri told her

"Oh. Well then.", said Kim

"So, are you the original.... person.", Carri asked

"Yes I am.", announced Kim proudly

"In that case I've heard a lot about you. Never gotten your name. I always hear of you as the original... person.", Carri told her

"I wonder. I'll have to ask about that. However, I don't know who to ask. Who is part of the gang?", Kim inquired

"That would be Kat, me, Rocky, Adam, Tommy and Jason. In that order.", Carri informed her

"What do you mean in that order?", asked Kim

"You know. One, two, three, four and five. Then Jase came back to fill in someone else's spot.", explained Carri

"When I left it was different.", Kim told her

"How so?", asked Carri

"Well, when I started", she paused to lean over and whisper into Carri's ear, "it was dinosaur power. Then it was ninja powers and powers called from our own personal animal.", Kim told her

Carri leaned over and whispered back. "Now we get our powers from the zeo crystal. We each have a number and a color."

"Sounds nifty. Too bad I can't have anything to do with it.", said Kim

"Hey, just out of curiosity, what was Rocky's animal?", Carri wanted to know

"An ape.", Kim told her

"Ape?", questioned Carri. "No comment."

There was a pause in the conversation.

"Are you excited about going to the National Finals?", Carri asked

"Yeah. But it's going to be cool. I've been working for a while for this and I would die if I could go to the Pan Global Games. That would be almost as cool as the Olympics. I almost went to the last Olympics but I was number 14 on the cut list.", Kim told her

"Well, there's always the 2000 Olympics.", said Carri

"If I'm even around then.", Kim said

"Well, look at that Russian girl. Bogenskia I think. She's like 24 or something. You won't be that old. I say go for it.", Carri said

"If I even have anything left. It'll be my luck I'll be falling of the uneven bars, missing the vault, not hitting anything on the beam and slipping on the floor.", Kim said

"Pessimist!", Carri accused

"I know. I just don't want this to get to my head. You know, think I'm all that so I don't practice and I suck and I don't even make it too the Olympics. Like Dominique Mocheanu. Who from what I hear is on an I think I'm all that kick and that's why she's sucking now.", Kim said defending herself

Suddenly a cold hand appeared over Carri's eyes causing her to shreak, followed by someone's saying, "Guess who?"

"Um... Tom Cruise.", said Carri

"Nope.", said whoever it was

"Ok. Brad Pitt.", was her next answer

"Carri!", the person exclaimed

"Well, can't a girl hope!", she said

"We all hope!", exclaimed Kim

"Wait! I know. It's Tommy! Hey how you doing.", said Carri as she ran her hand up his arm

"Excuse me?", said this person

"You mean it's not Tommy?", Carri asked

"Nope.", he answered

"I'm right here. Way to go. That was supposed to be our secret.", said Tommy Oliver

"Oops. Well if it's not Tom, Brad or Tommy that leaves Rocky.", said Carri sort of sad like

"It took you long enough!", exclaimed Rocky DeSantos as he took his hands off her eyes and leaned in and kissed her. "Hi."

"Hello.", she said

"And you Mr. Oliver. What do you think your doing messing around with my woman?", Rocky joked

"Um... no answer.", joked Tommy

"Yeah. I see. So that's how it's gonna be.", said Rocky. Then he pulled up a chair and sat beside Carri

"Ah-hem.", Kim said

"Oh hi Kim.", said Tommy pretending not to notice

"Excuse me! I am only the love of your life and I think I deserve a better greeting then that.", exclaimed Kim

Rocky stood up, walked over to Kim and hugged her. "Hi Kim. Nice to see you again.", he said before throwing in, "Real nice." Then he sat back down.

"Hey!", exclaimed Tommy

"Two can play at this game.", Rocky joked

"Well Tommy if you want a hug you know you can have one.", said Kim

"I know.", said Tommy as he walked over and gave her a hug

"Aw. You two still look cute together.", said Adam Park

"I know. And she can be my third woman. Any problems?", asked Tommy

Carri shook her head no.

"And since Kat doesn't know about you, we're cool.", Tommy joked

"Hey Kim, do you do that two man thing?", asked Jason Lee Scott

"Hmm. Why not.", said Kim as she shrugged her shoulders and went to give both him and Adam hugs

"So, what brings a lovely lady such as yourself out of the ever so glamorous world of gymnastics and back to hang with us bad mannered Angel Grove type?", asked Tommy

"Well, I wanted to see my first love. Visit with Rocky and Adam, see how Kat is holding up and catch up on shopping with Aisha. But, as I have found out from Carri things have changed since I was last here.", Kim told them

"Let's see here. Since you left me myself and I have come back to grace Angel Grove with my presence.", said Jason

"And Tanya has come and gone.", Adam told Kim

"Well who's going to be my shopping partner?", asked Kim

All the guys looked at Carri.

"I don't think you'll find any problems filling Aisha's slot.", said Rocky

"Queen of the mall.", Carri announced proudly

"We shall see.", said Kim

"Wow. You know, it's great to see you. How's the gymnastics coming?", Tommy wanted to know

"I'm going to National Finals at the end of April.", Kim told them

"Congratulations!", exclaimed Jason

"Way to go.", said Adam

Just then Kat walked in. As soon as she saw Kim she came up and gave her a big hug.

"It's so good to see you!", exclaimed Carri's cousin, Katherine Hillard

"Good to see you too.", Kim said

"How long are you in town for?", asked Kat

"That depends on when my hotel money runs out. The rooms are expensive. I've only put in for one night so far.", Kim told her

"Your staying in a hotel! Don't waste your money. You can stay with us.", offered Kat

"I don't know. I'd hate to impose.", said Kim

"Don't worry. I don't mind and I'm sure it's not a problem with my parents.", said Kat

"Well, I have to stay in the hotel tonight but tomorrow I'll be there.", said Kim

"Ok then. Tomorrow night it is.", said Kat

"Well Kim, since you're back we should plan out a whole lot of suff to do.", said Jason

"Like?", prompted Kim

"We should go to the beach tomorrow.", said Jason

"Me and Jase will handle everything. We can get a picnic basket together and we'll tell Billy. It'll be fun. What do you guys say?", asked Tommy

"Sounds like fun.", said Kim

Adam, Kat, and Carri nodded their heads in agreement.

"I have to work tomorrow.", complained Rocky

"Oh.", Tommy said

"But you guys go ahead. I'll see you there.", Rocky told them

"You sure?", asked Tommy

"Yes, absolutely. Don't let me keep you cooped up. Go. Have fun.", said Rocky

"If you say so.", said Kim

"We'll have your whole stay here to talk and hang. And tomorrow is the only day I'm scheduled for this weekend.", Rocky told her

"Well, in that case we'll go and have fun.", said Kim

"Like we were going to let Rocky stop us anyway.", joked Jason

"You know, this feels right. Being here in the Youth Center, with you guys. There's only one thing missing. And since I actually have a social life now, you guys can keep it.", said Kim

"Hey, we had a social life. Remember how we used to go out every weekend?", asked Tommy

"Yeah. Boy were those the times! We went out all the time back then. Until Aisha got that stupid cat and it seemed to have something against us. Then we'd have to sneak out!", exclaimed Kim

"Hey! Don't blame me. Rita is the one you should be yelling at, not PC!", said Kat defending herself

"But PC was a big pain in the butt.", said Kim

"Not PC, Rita.", Kat protested

"Whatever you say.", said Tommy

"Hey, your supposed to be sticking up for me!", Kat said

"Not when I think you're wrong.", teased Tommy

"But you're contractually bound to stick up for me.", Kat informed him

"Um... no.", said Tommy

"Tommy, I'm afraid to tell you, but she's right. It's in the unwritten boyfriend/girlfriend contract.", Kim told him

"Yes, and Kim used that all the time! Especially when I picked on her.", said Jason

"Oops. My bad. Yes Kim, we should be yelling at Rita for messing up our dates, not PC.", said Tommy with a sudden change of attitude

"PC was actually cute. Of course, I am not thinking about exactly who PC was sent from and why she was there.", said Adam

"Good point. But remember when Tommy used to come to us and complain about the cat? It drove me nuts. That's why I don't think the cat was that cute. Tommy would've complained, Rita or not.", said Rocky

"Tommy just isn't a cat lover.", Jason said

"But he turned pretty quickly.", said Adam

Tommy just smiled.

Carri felt extremely left out of the conversation. She couldn't reminisce with the others, and she hardly knew Kim. She decided to go on home.

Carri got up. "Guys, I'm heading out."

"Why?", Kat asked

"Well..", she said slowly so she could think of a reason while walked behind Rocky and put a hand on his shoulder, "there's some Cactus League games on this afternoon that I wanted to catch. Want to come Rocky?", she asked him

"Not today, I want to stay here and chat with Kim for a little while. I might come by later.", Rocky said

"Are you sure? It's the Dodgers at the Cubs. And I'm actually going to cheer for L.A.", she said trying to get him to join her

"It's mighty tempting, but I'd rather stay here and chat. Besides, your cheering for L.A. doesn't mean anything until April first.", Rocky told her

Carri shrugged her shoulders. "Whatever."

Then Carri leaned in and gave Rocky a quick kiss before she left. She didn't let the others know, but she was upset and she felt like she had taken a back seat to Kim. She couldn't talk to them, she didn't even know who PC was, and the only thing she knew about Rita is that Kat used to report to her because she put her under a spell.

"So, where were we?", asked Jason

"Talking about the good old days.", said Adam

"Boy do I miss that. These new getups are nice and all, but I miss dinosaur days.", said Jason

"That makes two of us.", said Tommy

Rocky looked deep in thought. "I don't know. We're having fun now..." Rocky's voice trailed off.

"You just like it now because if we were still in the old ways you would have a totally different relationship with your girlfriend.", teased Tommy

"Where do you get that?", asked Rocky

"Aisha would have never left. Then Tanya wouldn't have come and gone and Carri wouldn't have been where she is now.", Tommy explained

"I never thought of that.", said Rocky

"I liked having my own special animal. But then again, I can't really play the comparison game. I went off to be a famous gymnast while I left Kat here to do the dirty work. Darn. Can't you tell I'm depressed?", said Kim

"Yes. And I thank you for giving me this wonderful job! And I liked having your own special animal too.", joked Kat

"Remember, it was my animal. I was just letting you borrow it.", said Kim

"I never got an animal.", complained Jason

"Aw. I feel for you. Really.", said Rocky making his sympathy face

"Hey, enough talk about animals. People are going to start thinking that we're running a zoo here!", exclaimed Adam

That got a laugh from the gang. For the rest of the afternoon they spent their time sitting and chatting.

"So, is everything ready for today?", asked Carri as she hopped down the stairs with a bag in her hand

"Yup. I just got off the phone with Tommy. Zordon gave him permission for Tommy, along with Billy and Jason, to take the picnic stuff and teleport it to the location, which is in a cave somewhere down the coast. We're going to swim there. It's not too far.", explained Kat

"Ok.", said Carri as she picked up her bag and got ready to leave

"Um, what are you taking the bag for? I said we're swimming.", Kat told her

"There's towels and some of my stuff in here- suntan lotion, shades, etc. Don't worry, Rocky can keep an eye on it for me. Not like I care if it gets stolen.", said Carri

Kat just shrugged her shoulders as she followed Carri out the door.

"Hey guys!", said Carri as she waved her hand at Kim, Jason, Billy, Tommy and Adam

"Hey!", yelled Kim as she waved back

"Are we ready to go?", asked Kat as they approached the gang

"Yup.", said Tommy

Kat looked around as she walked toward Tommy. All the guys had on tops and swim trunks. And the girls were wearing bikini's with shorts over the bottom. Kat approached Tommy and put her arm into his as they got ready to walk down the beach.

"Hey Carri, we're swimming.", Jason re-informed her after noticing the bag

"Duh! I'm giving it to Rocky. It's stuff we'll need later. Or at least I will. I'm not going home dripping wet", Carri said re-explaining why she had the bag

"Ok.", said Jason accepting her answer

The gang started to walk down the beach, toward Rocky's tower, which was the spot they were starting swimming at.

As they walked down the beach, Adam walked on the end. Billy walked beside him and Kim beside Billy. Tommy was squeezed between Kat and Kim, which was making for quite an uncomfortable situation. Even though Kat and Tommy were together, Tommy couldn't help but look over at Kim, with glances that he used to give her when they were together.

Why did we break up? We were such the couple... we could still be together... Tommy's thoughts trailed off as he was pulled back into reality by Kat, who, upon noticing Tommy's wondering eye, put her arm around him. Kat was starting to feel jealous about Kim and Tommy's relationship.

Walking beside Kat was Carri, and last but not least Jason. Carri and Jason were having fun, whispering back and forth about the various people on the beach, and some of the funky bathing suits they were wearing. Once they busted out laughing when Jason pointed out for Carri someone who was wearing a 2 piece who really shouldn't be. The others looked at them like they were crazy, but that look was nothing they hadn't seen before. Especially Carri.

Finally they approached the tower where Rocky was working. He came out and greeted them.

"Ready for your fun day in the sun?", Rocky asked

"Ready as we'll ever be.", Kim replied

"Just do me a favor and don't drown out there. I don't have time to watch you and the other kids.", Rocky joked

"Hey!", Carri exclaimed as both her and Kim jokingly hit Rocky

"Come on, don't gang up on me like this!", Rocky yelled. "So much for my friends help.", he said looking at Tommy, Jason, Adam and Billy

The four boys turned around looking for someone like they didn't know who Rocky was talking about.

"Before I give this to Rocky, is there anything anyone would like to contribute?", Carri asked pointing to the bag

"Here. I'd hate to ruin this.", said Kim taking a scrunchie out of her hair

Adam took his watch out of his pocket and handed it over. "I forgot this isn't waterproof.", he said sheepishly

"Well, here you go. We'll be back by 5 ish.", said Carri handing over the bag

"Wait!", the brains of the group and there close friend, Billy Cranston yelled

"What's wrong?", asked a concerned Tommy

"When Adam handed over his watch something just hit me. We shouldn't go swimming with our communicators on. They're electronic. What if they short out?", Billy told them

"No problem. We'll just leave them with Rocky.", said Jason as he took his off and prepared to hand it over

"I refuse to take any communicators. I can't watch this suff. I'm a lifeguard, not a stuff guard. People have been known to rip things from towers before. All of the stuff in here can be replaced. Not the communicators.", Rocky said

"Aw man. That ruins our afternoon.", griped Tommy

"Oh, this sucks. Well, come on Tommy, let's make the best of the afternoon and...", started Kat before being rudely interrupted

"Wait. I'll stay and watch them.", said Carri

"No, we couldn't ask you to do that. You're supposed to come with us.", said Kim

"Don't worry about it. You guys have catching up to do. I wouldn't know what to say..", Carri started but was interrupted by Rocky's, "for once." Then she elbowed him and continued on. "Besides, you're staying with us. I'll have plenty of time to get to know you."

"Well, if you really mean it...", Billy's voice trailed off

Carri shook her head yes.

"Ok then.", said Adam as he and the others took off their communicators and handed them to Carri

"Bye! Have fun!", Carri yelled after them as they ran down the beach, almost glad she couldn't go, she wasn't up for more reminiscing time

"That was a selfless act. How nice of you.", Rocky said as he waved bye to his friends

"I know. Now you're stuck with me because I'm going to lay out here and tan all afternoon.", Carri said

"Great.", Rocky said sarcastically but in a teasing manner

Carri grabbed her stuff and went to find a place to lay down as Rocky walked back into his tower. Carri dug through her bag and looked to find the biggest towel. When she found it, she also found her mini TV which she had left in her bag (which was also her baseball clothes bag) after the last practice. She had hid in the corner of the dugout and watched TV while the coach made all the bench warmers run.

I was wondering where this got off to. She thought as she laid down on her stomach on the blanket and turned on the TV. The first channel was NBC. Hmm. Day's Of Our Lives. Why not. Then I've got my Astros on at 1... and I'm set.

About fifteen minutes after leaving the main part of the beach the friends came up onto an area with a beach area no more than 35 feet long and there was no more that 25 feet from the time you got onto the beach until the time you reached the entrance of the cave.

As Tommy and Jason swam up to the shore, they walked into the cave and got the picnic basket and a blanket from inside. By the time they came back onto the beach everyone had made it ashore.

As soon as Billy saw them come out he went up to Jason and helped him with the blanket.

"On economy sized blanket for your sitting pleasure.", said Jason as they sat the blanket down

"Ok, let's eat.", said Tommy as he sat down and was quickly followed by the others.

They sat in a circle with the basket in the middle. Tommy had Kim to his right and Jason to his left. Kat wasn't quick enough to get a seat by Tommy so she was to Kim's right. Billy sat beside Jason and then Adam between Billy and Kat.

Kat opened the basket. "There isn't as much food in here as there was last time."

"That's because Rocky didn't come.", Adam said teasing his friend

The others laughed.

"So, who wants what?", asked Kim who had sit up to peer into the basket

"Just take a sandwich, drink and chips and pass the basket around.", Jason told her

The basket got around quickly, and by the time it made it back to Kim there was only bottled water left.

"Kim, I'm sorry I didn't come to the Youth Center yesterday and see you, but I was busy developing and rewiring...", Billy started but was interrupted by Kim

"Wait. Don't tell me. I won't understand.", Kim stopped him

"You never could understand anything I was doing.", commented Billy

"That's because I wasn't the one who graduated in the eleventh grade and was so smart. I was just one of the dumb ones.", Kim said, making fun of herself by saying she was dumb

"I agree with that. You were always the one who we had to explain things to.", Jason said

"Hey, not like you were any better.", Kim said defending herself

"It seems as though the only person in the history of the Power Rangers to ever understand Billy's mumbo jumbo was Trini.", Tommy told them

"Boy do I miss Trini. With her around, there was never any need to repeat myself. She was my official translator.", Billy said as he sighed

"Let's see, I saw Trini not to long ago... maybe a month or so ago. She was doing fine. Her and Zack are still working the peace conferences. I can get you the address if you want it Billy. Then you could write her and see how she's doing.", Jason told him

"Really? That would be great!", Billy exclaimed

"Just remind me and I'll bring it by the Power Chamber later this week.", said Jason

"Those were the fun times, me, you guys and Zack and Trini. Although I did enjoy Aisha's presence more because she would actually shop with me. And Rocky actually keeps my secrets...", started Kim before she was rudely cut off

"Hey! When have I ever blabbed something you told me?", asked Jason

"Let's see here... where to start. Remember when I told you I thought Bulk and Skull needed a major attitude adjustment? Well they came after me with flowers and candy for days after you blabbed that one. And how about the time when you told Tommy that I said I've never had a power hungry boyfriend. He took it as an insult. Then there was when...", Kim started but was cut off

"Ack! Ok, ok I get the point. Maybe I do have a kinda big mouth.", admitted Jason

"Kind of? No comment.", Tommy said joking with his best friend

Kat had been sitting and smiling the whole time. She couldn't have anything to do with their conversation - it was all before she came. She was extremely jealous of Kim and she wished that she had stayed on the beach with Carri. At least then she'd have someone she could talk to, someone else who didn't really fit in while Kim was there because she wasn't around back then either.

Kim put her arm around Tommy and reached way behind him so she could grab Jason's shoulder too.

"This is the best time I've had since I left Angel Grove. I'm here, with you guys, eating and talking...", Kim said

"We've missed you Kim.", Tommy told her

"Yeah. Things aren't just the same without having someone as spirited as you... however we do have rangers who compare.", Jason said agreeing with Tommy

"Really? Who could compare to me?", questioned Kim

The guys looked at each other. "Let me tell you, Carri has your spirit - attitude wise she reminds me a little of you.", Tommy told her

"Well then, it looks like Carri and I should spend more time together. Maybe we'll go somewhere when we get back home. Like... shopping!", said Kim

"Well, Carri may have your spirit but she certainly is no Kim. You are unique.", Billy told Kim

"I know.", Kim said agreeing with him

Tommy started laughing.

"What?", Adam asked

"I was just thinking about all the things Kim has done.", Tommy explained to Adam

"Like?", Adam prompted

"Oh... everything.", Tommy answered

Kim (who by this time had removed her arm from around Tommy's shoulder) got on her knees and got over Tommy, grabbing his arm.

"Tell me what you were thinking about me or I'll twist it!", she threatened

"Nope, not telling.", Tommy said

Kim pushed Tommy over and his legs went flying up. Kim landed on top of Tommy and by that time they were both laughing unstoppably.

"They haven't changed.", Jason whispered to Billy

Billy just shook his head no.

Kat was wishing more than anything that that was her on top of Tommy.But that's ok. I only have to deal with Kim for a few days and then she's gone - back to practicing gymnastics - for a long, long time. She thought.

Rocky, who was just getting back from patrolling the beach, walked behind Carri, who was laying on her back, and glanced down at the baseball score.

"Still 0-0? They're in the sixth already.", said Rocky

"Both Steve Avery and Daryl Kile are flawless. But don't worry, the Red Sox will fall.", Carri said confidently

"Sure they will.", said Rocky as he walked back to his tower

Beep Beep BeepBeep Beep Beep.

"Ug!", yelled Carri as she sat up. Not one day of peace! Carri walked up onto the tower and pointed to her communicator.

"Do you mind watching everybody's stuff while I go deal with the emergency.", she whispered as she walked up to Rocky

"Wait a minute. I'm not letting you go by yourself. Who knows what Mondo has for us.", Rocky told her

"And just who do you think is coming with me? Everybody else is eating lunch.", Carri said

"Me.", Rocky said

"But your on duty!", Carri exclaimed, "Besides, how hard could this be. I'll only be gone a few minutes and..."

Rocky cut her off. "And nothing. Hang on."

Rocky went inside his tower and picked up the phone, and opened a line to the closest tower.

"Do you mind watching my water for a minute? I just got paged, family emergency.", Rocky asked

"Sure.", replied the lifeguard on the other end of the phone

Rocky quickly closed up the tower and Carri walked in.

"Now I can come with you.", Rocky told her

They shut the door to the tower and it was completely dark. Carri answered her communicator.

"Yes?", she asked

"King Mondo has sent a monster into the city and it is terrorizing the citizens. You must teleport immediately.", Alpha told them

"Right. We're on it.", Carri said

"It's morphin time!", Rocky yelled, although not to loudly for fear someone outside might hear him

"ZEO RANGER II, YELLOW!"

"ZEO RANGER III, BLUE!"

Once lunch was finished, everyone started to play volleyball. Tommy and Jason had brought the ball and they used the towel (folded up) as the middle of the court. They had no real net.

Kat managed her way onto Tommy's team, along with Jason. Kat was hoping she could get Tommy to forget about Kim. However, the one player on the other team that Tommy played around with the most was Kim.

"This one's coming to you!", Tommy yelled as he served the ball

"I got it!", yelled Kim

Kim bumped it, Billy set it, and Adam spiked it. As it went over the net both Jason and Tommy dove for it and missed. But Kat saved it and is soon as Tommy jumped up, he spiked it in Kim's face and she missed it.

Kim stuck her tongue out. "No fair. I wasn't ready.", she complained

Jason threw Tommy the ball as Tommy was walking off the "court". "Hey man, it's your serve. Where you going?"

Tommy had pulled a watch out of the basket and noticed that it was almost three.

"I hate to cut it short, but I have to go. I promised David I would meet him somewhere at four. I'll see you guys later.", said Tommy as he waved and ran into the ocean

"We need help!", Carri yelled as she and Rocky regrouped after being thrown aside by the monster

"Yes you do! You will never be able to defeat me!", the monster bellowed

"Now that we're winning, let's make our monster grow!", yelled Klank as he swirled Orbus around and flung him onto the monster

"Up you go buddy.", said Orbus as the monster grew to an enormous size

"Oh man. Where's Pyramidas when you need it most?", asked Rocky

"I don't know, but I suggest we get our zords fast before we're crushed.", said Carri

"Right. We need Super Zeo Zord power, now!", Rocky yelled

Suddenly the blue and yellow zeo zords came out of nowhere and Carri and Rocky jumped into their zord.

They fought the monster, as hard as it was. He was flinging them around easily. They were fighting him the best they could, and they had issued some hard blows, but without some more powerful zords, they would be through.

Tommy made it ashore and noticed the bag with the communicators, opened and unattended.

How irresponsible! I can't believe she just ran off and left this stuff here where anyone could get their hands on it! He thought angrily as he pulled his communicator out of the bag and zipped the bag up.

Beep Beep BeepBeep Beep Beep.

"Aw man, that must be where she is.", Tommy said out loud

Tommy noticed the closed up tower and walked into it to answer his communicator.

"What is it?", he asked

"Rocky and Carri are in the park fighting one of Mondo's monsters and are in great need of your assistance.", Alpha informed him

"Ok Alpha. I'm on it. It's morphin time!", yelled Tommy

"ZEO RANGER V, RED!"

"Tommy!", Carri yelled from the cockpit of her zord

"I need Red Battle Zord power, now!", yelled Tommy

"Sorry I'm late.", Tommy apologized from the cockpit of the Red Battle Zord

"Better late that never.", said Rocky

"So, why haven't you called on the Super Zeo Mega Zord yet?", asked Tommy

"Don't bother rangers! I will destroy you before you can call on your sorry zords!", bellowed the monster

"We needed one more zord - Alpha said he can only bring out and work two at once.", Carri explained

"Right. Hold on. I need Super Zeo Zord power now!", Tommy yelled

Tommy jumped into the red Super Zeo Zord.

"Ready Alpha?", Rocky asked

"Yes Rocky.", Alpha told him

"Ok. We need Super Zeo Mega Zord power now!", yelled Tommy

Suddenly the pink and green zeo zords appeared and they formed the Super Zeo Mega Zord.

"You guys got it?", Tommy asked

"Yup.", answered Rocky

"Ok then.", Tommy said as he left for his zord

While the rangers were forming the Super Zeo Mega Zord the monster had taken advantage of Tommy's vacant Battle Zord and was trashing it. Just as he was about to knock the zord down, Tommy reappeared in his zord and issued the monster the greatest of blows. The monster fell back in shock.

The Super Zeo Mega Zord along with the Red Battle Zord worked to take down another one of Mondo's monsters. After each zord took a slight beating they decided they had to regroup and combine their forces into one great attack. Both zords came at the monster hitting him is hard as they could, causing the monster to fall back and be destroyed.

Carri was sitting with Rocky on her beach towel. It had reached 5:00 and Rocky was officially off duty because the beach was closed.

"Why don't you come home with me?", Rocky asked her

"The guys would have my head if I ran off with their stuff.", said Carri

"So. Not like they won't be able to guess where you went.", Rocky said as he smiled

Rocky put his arm around her as he spoke, and they kissed. For a few moments it was perfect, the sun was setting and the ocean water was crystal clear.

"Ooooh, Rocky! Carri! Look at you guys, sitting here setting a bad example for all of us.", Kim teased interrupting their moment

Carri and Rocky stopped kissing as they looked up and saw their friends arriving from their day of fun.

"And I thought Mondo had bad timing.", Rocky complained

"Oopsies. Did we interrupt. Darn.", said Kim as she snapped her fingers and made a sympathy face

Rocky stood up then he helped Carri up. "I know you would have done everything to avoid coming at this time if you knew we were here.", said Rocky

"Exactly.", Kim told him

Jason reached into the bag and pulled out his communicator. "I hate to run, but I have something else I've got to do.", he said

"Somebody's got a hot date tonight.", Carri teased

"Maybe.", Jason said

"Now Jason, you know you can't leave without telling me who she is.", Kim said

"Bye.", said Jason as he waved his hand and left

"Her name is Emily and she works for Ernie's beach club as a waitress.", Carri told her

"Traitor!", Jason yelled jokingly as was walking away

"So Carri, I've heard a lot about you, although considering the sources I don't know if it's true, and I was thinking maybe me and you should go to the mall after we change and have a chance to shop and get to know each other.", proposed Kim

"Sure, I've got nothing else planned. Why not.", said Carri

Carri picked up her bag and handed Billy, Kat and Adam their communicators.

"Well, I'm off to the Power Chamber. I'll talk to you guys later.", said Billy as he hit the button and teleported away

"Well, I'm leaving. Kim your bags are in Kat's car now.", Adam told her as he left

"Ok. I guess we're leaving too.", said Kim

"Wait, we're not leaving until I collect my stuff.", Carri said stopping Kim from walking away

"Come on Carri. I had things I needed to do.", said Kat restlessly

"Ok ok!.", she exclaimed

"If you really need to go, go on. I'll take Carri home.", offered Rocky

"Ok. Coming Kim?", asked Kat

"Um... yeah. I'll shower and I'll be ready soon.", said Kim

"Ok. All I need to do is change, so if you guys hurry we'll be ready to go as soon as I get back.", said Carri

"Alright, bye.", said Kim as she waved her hand and left

"Bye.", said Kat as she followed her

"Bye!", Rocky and Carri said at the same time as Carri waved

"Ok. Now let's hurry up and get this stuff picked up.", Carri said as she picked up a baseball which had rolled out of her bag

"Now, you know that will only take a few seconds. And Kim is probably getting ready to take a shower and that will take a few minutes.", Rocky told her

"And?", questioned Carri as she put the ball back into the bag

"And the sun is still setting and the ocean is beautiful.. and now that everybody's gone.", Rocky started as he pulled Carri in closer. "We can pick up where we left off.", he said as he kissed her

Carri and Kim had long returned from their shopping and were laying on their stomachs on the floor in their clothes going threw a bag of assorted Hershey's chocolates while watching TV. They were running on a caffeine high while Kat, who was right beside them, was half asleep. But that was expected, considering it was two in the morning.

"Did you see the look on the cashier's face when I handed her the purchases?", Kim asked

"It was classic. Then when she rang them up...", Carri started

"And she asked if I was sure about buying it all!", exclaimed Kim as both girls laughed

"You can't forget about those people in Claire's. There was the couple... now there was a classic.", Carri said

"Then you can't forget about that old lady.", said Kim

"Oh yeah. What did she say... oh, I remember. Little girls like you shouldn't be out this late at night. What would happen if somebody tried to grab you. You would be completely defenseless.", said Carri imitating the lady to the best of her ability

"Sure we would. We can hold our own against the forces of evil trying to destroy the earth but we couldn't handle a bunch of teenaged punks. Whatever.", said Kim causing another burst of laughter from her and Carri

Great. Even my own cousin prefers having Kim around over me. This just ends my perfect day. Thought Kat as she sighed and put her head down.

"What really killed me was that teen who...", started Kim

"Stop! With all of that talking how's a girl supposed to get any rest?", complained Kat

"Here. Have a few. In a few minutes you won't even be sleepy.", said Carri as she tossed the bag Kat's way

"No I can't. I dance, remember.", said Kat throwing the bag back

"Hmm. You know, if my coach saw me eating like this, he'd kill me.", said Kim

"Mine too.", agreed Carri

Just then there was a knock at the front door.

"Now, there's only four guys I know crazy enough to come over here at two in the morning.", said Carri as she glanced over at Kim

They both jumped up and went for the door. Kat got up on her own time.

Carri threw the door open. "Don't you guys know...", she started but she stopped suddenly once she realized who her visitors were

"Cogs!", she exclaimed. "Can you hold them off for a minute?"

"Yeah sure. Go morph.", said Kim as she started fighting them

Carri back up to where Kat was standing. "It's morphin time!", she yelled

"ZEO RANGER I, PINK!"

"ZEO RANGER II, YELLOW!"

There were bright flashes of pink and yellow light, but nothing happened.

"What in the?", said a puzzled Carri. "Let's try again."

"ZEO RANGER I, PINK!"

"ZEO RANGER II, YELLOW!"

The results were the same. Carri tried to contact the Power Chamber, but got no response.

"Something's wrong. We've got to get the cogs out of the house.", Carri said to Kim

Kim nodded her head yes as the three girls fought the cogs out of the house.

There were dozens of cogs and no sign of help. Suddenly out of nowhere, about two dozen big brown birds appeared and started attacking the girls. One of them grabbed Kat from behind and, because she was to tired to fight it, it took here and teleported her away. Then they came after Kim and Carri, pushing cogs out of the way.

"Tengas! I thought they were long gone!", exclaimed Kim

"Who?", asked Carri as she walked over to Kim and looked out onto the empty road seeing all their foes coming at them

"No time to explain. But I do know we're out numbered. Heavily.", said Kim

"There's only one thing left to do. Run!", yelled Carri as she and Kim took off

"Were are we going?", asked Kim

"Jason's house. It's the closest one to us.", Carri told her

Carri and Kim ran through the streets and cut across lawns, hoping to loose the cogs. They ran threw 3 or 4 backyards and down a street a few feet, then they took a left onto a street and ran the to the third house on the right, Jason's house. It appeared that they had lost the cogs and tengas - for the moment. But they needed to hurry because they would catch up soon.

Carri ran and knocked on Jason's door and his younger sister answered.

"Where's your brother?", Carri said as she peered into the room and saw several 11 year old girls playing with makeup

"Jason said no girls are allowed to bother him.", said his sister Julie Scott as she prepared to slam the door in Carri and Kim's face

"Wait!", yelled Carri as she caught the door. "This is an emergency."

Julie opened the door and pointed up the stairs. "Second door on the left. But he's asleep. And my brother knows karate so when he kills you both you can't say I didn't warn you.", she said as she let the girls in

Kim rolled her eyes as she walked by. "I hope I wasn't that annoying at eleven.", she whispered to Carri as they walked up the stairs

Carri made it up the stairs first and banged on Jason's door.

"Go away! I'm trying to sleep! Didn't I tell you that if you bothered me I'd kill you!", yelled Jason as he woke up

Carri opened the door and walked in, and was followed by Kim. Jason was laying on his side, his back facing the opposite direction from the girls.

Kim shut the door behind them. "Jason this is important.", she said

"Get ou..!", Jason started to yell as he sat up and realized who it was that was bothering him at such an early hour

"What are you doing here?", he asked

"Our powers aren't working and communications are down.", Carri started to explain

"And to make matters worse, the tengas were there and they snatched Kat.", finished Kim

"Maybe my powers will work since they don't come from the zeo crystal.", said Jason as he stood up

"GOLD RANGER POWER!"

Jason had his hand up in the air, but nothing happened.

"We need to get the others.", said Jason as he threw on some clothes

"Right. I'll go wake Rocky.", Carri volunteered

"I'll go get Tommy.", volunteered Jason

"And I guess I can go wake Adam.", said Kim

"Ahhh!", was the scream that came from downstairs

"Oh no.", said Jason as he ran out the door and down the stairs, quickly followed by Kim and Carri

As they arrived they found the cogs and tengas harassing the kids. They fought some more bad guys, and kicked them out of the house, and away from Julie and her guests.

Jason, Kim and Carri ran outside and split, and prayed they would shake the enemy.

"See I told you Jason knew karate.", said Julie as she tried to imitate his kick but ended up falling on her butt

All of her friends were staring at the door all googly eyed.

"He's dreamy.", said Sarah

"And he has a cute butt too.", Christine said as the girls giggled

Knock knock!

"Carri! Do you realize it's two in the morning. You may be always welcome here, but not while others are sleeping.", said Rocky's little brother Matt DeSantos

"You're up.", Carri pointed out

"All night movie marathon.", Matt said as he moved out of Carri's way and she ran up the stairs

"What's the rush?", asked Matt

"This is a life or death matter.", she explained as she made it up the stairs and busted into Rocky's room

Rocky's room was a mess. There were clothes in the floor and it looked like he hadn't cleaned it in a while. But that was ok. Because compared to Carri's room, it was pretty neat. Rocky was asleep, and the sheets were all messed up and he was barley under them.

Carri walked up and tapped him on the shoulder. "Wake up.", she whispered into his ear

"Huh?", Rocky muttered as he opened his eyes and noticed Carri staring at him

"What are you doing here?", he hissed

"What a warm welcome. We have problems. Everything is down, and Kat's been captured by these big brown birds called....", Carri's voice trailed off because she couldn't remember their names

"Tengas.", Rocky finished off for her as he sat strait up

Rocky jumped out of bed and threw some clothes on.

"We need to hurry. I don't know how long it will take before the tengas figure out I'm here.", said Carri

"Let's go.", said Rocky as he grabbed his keys off of his bag that he usually takes to work

"Let's swing by Adam and Tommy's houses to see how everyone else is doing.", suggested Carri as they left Rocky's room and headed downstairs

Rocky nodded his head in agreement as they walked out the door and to the car.

Rocky, with Carri on the passengers side and Adam and Kim in the backseat, pulled into the Youth Center with Tommy and Jason close behind them.

"Now, tell me again why you ran.", Rocky asked

"The Hershey's.", mumbled Kim as Carri laughed

"They were right on our tail at both mine and Jase's house. We didn't have much of a choice.", explained Carri as Rocky parked the car and they got out

Everyone, minus Billy and Kat, was standing in the dark empty parking lot at the Youth Center.

"What do we do now?", asked Adam

"We need to find a place to hide out until tomorrow morning. We can't take everybody on while it's dark like this.", said Tommy

"I think I know the place.", said Rocky

"Where?", asked Tommy

"Just follow me.", said Rocky

"Ok.", Tommy said

Everyone piled back into the cars they came in, except for Kim who rode over with Tommy and Jason.

"Rocky, we're at the beach!", exclaimed Carri as they stepped out of the car

"Where can we possibly stay here?", questioned Kim

Rocky held up a key. "In headquarters. Those dummies will be so busy looking for us at each others houses they'll never think to look here.", he said justifying his decision to bring them to the beach

"Good idea.", said Tommy

They all walked to the door to lifeguard headquarters and Rocky opened it. They went downstairs to the main lobby, which lead to the locker rooms and exercise room.

Rocky went over to a cabinet and opened it. He pulled out six towels and handed everybody one.

"Use these as pillows.", said Rocky

Everyone took their "pillow" and laid down to make an attempt at sleep. Rocky slept the far left, next to Carri who was beside Kim. To the other side of Kim was Tommy, then Jason and finally Adam.

Eventually everyone was able to close their eyes but the situation at hand kept for any decent sleep.

"Rocky DeSantos! What gives you and your friends the right to come in here and...", Rocky's boss, Jake Thompson started but was interrupted when a tenga came flying down the stairs and attacked him

The rangers got up quickly to get the tenga off Rocky's boss and they started to fight the ones that followed. There weren't as many as the night before, and the cogs weren't there. They won a quick battle against the tengas and then they disappeared. The rangers ran up the stairs and followed them

Jake watched the whole incident. He was confused. What was that? I think my best bet would be to forget this ever happened. He thought as he picked up the towels that the rangers left on the floor.

"We have to get to the Power Chamber on foot.", Tommy said

"As much as I hate to admit it, your right.", said Adam

"We can drive part of the way.", Jason told them

The others nodded their heads in agreement as they jumped into the cars and headed off.

As they drove, Rocky noticed how quiet Carri was.

"What's the matter?", he asked

"I'm worried about Kat.", said Carri

"Don't worry, we'll find her.", Rocky said trying to comfort his girlfriend

Carri still had a worried look on her face. "And I still have no clue who those birds are.", she complained

"I can handle this one. Those birds are called tengas. They were a late wedding gift to Lord Zedd and Rita from Rita's bone headed brother, Rito.", Adam explained

"I think I understand. So, with Rita and Zedd, what are we up against?", asked Carri

"Well, Rita and Zedd have different methods of making monsters out of inanimate objects. There was the one made from the Pachinko Machine..", Adam started

"That was my favorite.", interrupted Rocky

"Then there was others made out of silly stuff. And Finster used to make monsters out of clay... the only other things we have to worry about are Goldar and Rito.", finished Adam

"If you want to say we even have to worry about them.", joked Rocky

The rangers quickly reached their final destination and hopped out of the car and begin walking to the Power Chamber. The walk was long and tiring. And when they got there, all they found in the space where the Power Chamber used to be was nothing.

The rangers couldn't believe their eyes. Carri, who was close to tears, walked up to the spot where the Power Chamber was supposed to be and as she was walking, it felt like she hit a wall. But there was nothing. Carri stuck her hand out and felt a wall there. As she felt the wall, she ran her fingers across something that appeared to be in the shape of a rectangle. She moved her hand to the right and traced a star, then back to the left a little and traced a triangle.

"What's she doing?", whispered Jason

Rocky shrugged his shoulders.

"She's nuts.", whispered Adam as they watched her trace the last two shapes

"It must be the stress.", said Tommy

"I'll go talk to her.", said Rocky as he walked over to Carri

"Rocky, you've got to see this.", said Carri excited over what she had found

"Look Carri, I think that...", Rocky started as Carri grabbed his hand and traced it over the triangle

"Hey guys, check this out!", Rocky yelled to everyone

They all approached the Power Chamber and stuck their hands out, feeling what Rocky and Carri had felt.

"Maybe we can feel our way to the entrance.", suggested Jason

"It's worth a try.", said Tommy

Jason led the way around the Power Chamber, until he came to the spot which was supposed to be the initial entrance into the Power Chamber.

"Here goes nothing.", said Jason as he tried to open the door

Jason jumped back from the door as a shock was sent through his body. He landed hard on the ground and the other rushed over to him.

"Are you ok?", Kim asked

"I guess that was somebody's way of saying we're not welcome.", joked Jason as he got up

"Now what do we do?", asked Carri

"I don't know. But I sure wish I did.", said Rocky as he put his arm around Carri's shoulder

"We'll figure something out.", Tommy said as he put an arm around Kim's shoulder, who was standing there with her arms crossed and biting her lower lip

Kim sniffled. "I'm scared. Sure we've lost our powers before, but we've never lost contact with the Power Chamber."

"We have no way to find out anything now. I'm afraid to think of what might happen.", Adam said

The boys shot him a look. They were all aware of it, but now wasn't the best of times time to point it out.

As Kim's sniffles got louder, Tommy pulled her in closer and was embracing her like he used to when they were together. Carri was to much in shock to cry, but Rocky knew she was upset and continued to hold her. Adam and Jason were standing around with their arms crossed and confused, scared looks on their faces.

As if the situation wasn't bad enough, both the cogs and tengas appeared ready to attack and destroy any ranger who challenged them

The boys jumped in front of the girls, ready to take on whatever Zedd and Mondo threw at them.

"Let's split up.", suggested Tommy

"Right.", said Rocky

"Why don't you two go together?", Jason said to the girls, who in their present state couldn't do anything by themselves

"Yeah, sure.", replied Kim as she and Carri went in one direction for monster fighting

They bad guys outnumbered the good guys by a landslide. And everyone was out of breath and getting weak. They needed their powers more than ever. But until they could figure out why they weren't working, they couldn't get them back.

Carri and Kim had the worst end of it. They weren't really up for monster fighting, and they were showing it. They started off looking alive and with it, but ten minutes into the fight, they were letting the bad guys get the best of them. They were getting thrown around like nothing.

"Look on the bright side. We're out in the middle of nowhere and that means there are no trees for us to be thrown into.", Kim told Carri as they regrouped

As they were face to face with the cogs, some tengas leaped over them and landed on them, and they were trapped in the center of a gang of tengas who were letting them have it. Just when they thought there was no hope, a flash of white light appeared and attacked the tengas.

"He looks like a ranger!", exclaimed Kim

"I know! Are you from Triforia?", Carri asked the strange ranger after he fought off the cogs and tengas

"Why would you think that?", the ranger asked

"Because that's where Trey is from.", replied Carri

"No, we're not from Triforia. My friends and I reside on Aquitar.", the stranger answered before going to join the others

Kim and Carri turned around and noticed there were more of the rangers from Aquitar.

"Red, yellow, blue and black. No pink. Oh well, there not true rangers.", joked Kim

Tommy and the rest of the boys rushed over to Kim and Carri.

"Are you guys ok?", Tommy asked as he placed his hands on Kim's shoulders

"Nothing that a hot tub and a good massage won't cure.", said Kim

The Alien Ranger approached the Earth Rangers after fighting with the cogs and tengas, who had gone back to whatever bad guy they came from.

"Rangers, you must come back to Aquitar with us. We will explain everything there.", said the White Aquitarian Ranger

"Whatever it takes.", said Tommy as the Aquitarian Rangers grabbed the teens and they all teleported back to Aquitar

"Katherine. How nice of you to visit. Sorry I couldn't be here when you arrived. Zedd and I were busy celebrating our return.", said Rita Repulsa as she arrived in the cave where she was holding Kat

"Let me out of here!", Kat yelled from her cell, which was a little square cell in the middle of the cave with green bars

"Now Kat, why would I do that? I've been waiting for this moment since you became the pink ranger.", said Rita

"Just what do you plan on doing with me and my friends?", Kat asked

"No, not your friends, just you.", said Rita as she started to explain part of her's and Zedd's plan. "I could've brought your friends here. But why? I just want them dead. It's you I want to torture. But maybe I'll bring Tommy in here. What would be worse that watching your boyfriend die a slow, horrible death. And yes, I do know you and Tommy hooked up. It sure took you long enough."

"You leave Tommy alone!", yelled Kat as she reached threw the bars like she was trying to grab Rita

"Ha! You can't touch me.", Rita taunted. "Now, I must go. But Rito is right behind me and he'll keep you company."

"Oh great.", said Kat sarcastically

With that Rita left and Rito appeared.

"Hiya Kat. How you doing. Nice to see you again.", said Rito

"Oh can it bone head.", Kat snapped as she sat down in her cell

"Let's back up here. We don't know you and you took us to this place...", Jason started but was interrupted when the white ranger put a finger to her mouth

"I believe your friends can explain.", said the ranger

Jason, Kim and Carri turned and stared at Tommy, Adam and Rocky.

"These are the Aquitarian Rangers.", said Adam giving a brief introduction

"They came in defense of earth when Master Vile turned us into children in an evil plot to rule the world. They also lent a hand with the zeo quest.", explained Rocky

"Guys, I'd like for you to meet Delphine, the White Aquitarian Ranger, Aurico, the Red Aquitarian Ranger, Cestro, the Blue Aquitarian Ranger, Tideus, the Yellow Aquitarian Ranger and Corcus, the Black Aquitarian Ranger.", Tommy said finishing the introductions

As the Aquitarian Rangers heard their name, they powered down.

"It's nice meeting you. But we haven't got much time so we must cut to the reason you're here.", said Tideus

"How did you guys know we were in trouble?", asked Tommy

"We were trying to get in contact with Zordon, like we usually do, when we noticed the disturbance.", said Corcus

"What disturbance?", asked Adam

"Our message to Zordon couldn't be received because there was something blocking it. After much digging, we found that Lord Zedd and Rita have put up a force field around the Power Chamber, not letting anything in or out. Anything including communications, energy from the Zeo Crystal, or people.", explained Cestro

"That is why you were shocked when you tried to enter the Power Chamber.", Aurico told Jason

"That explains a lot. But how do we get everything up and running? And what happened to Kat?", asked Carri

"Both the machine in charge of the force field and Katherine are in a cave. You must destroy the machine in order to get your powers. Once you past security and destroy the machine, getting Katherine will be easy.", Delphine told them

"And how do you suppose we do that? Once again, we can't use our powers.", Kim pointed out

"I am aware of that.", Delphine said as she motioned to Tideus to bring her a box

"I guess that means you'll do it for us.", said Rocky

"No Rocky, we won't. You will all on your own.",

"But how?", Jason asked

Tideus handed Delphine the box. "You are going to go on a quest for powers, a quest that is necessary for all true rangers to go on.", Delphine explained

"Been there done that.", said Kim

"These aren't new powers, these are your zeo powers.", said Cestro

"I thought you said that the zeo powers were useless as long as that force field is up.", said Tommy with a rather confused look on his face

"They are.", said Delphine as she opened the box

The rangers peered into the box. Inside they saw 6 necklaces. Each had a crystal as the charm. Five of the crystals had little strips in them. Each strip shined a bright color in the center, pink, yellow, blue, green or red, and inside the crystal it appeared as though there was smoke floating around in the crystal that was the same color as the sliver, only lighter. In the 6th crystal the only difference was that instead of a straight sliver it took the shape of the gold ranger's staff and was black.

"What are these?", Adam asked

"The little slivers you see inside the crystals are powerful energy strips, which only glow when in the presence of someone who has been on the quest. Each strip contains some energy from it's respective zeo crystal. These will allow you to morph. However, you can only have power for a few minutes, but that should be enough time to get in and destroy the force field and you can morph for real. As for Jason, his crystal will give him enough power to call upon his staff. That was the only reason Jason couldn't morph, he needed the power from the Power Chamber to call on his staff.", explained Delphine

"Ok, so if we use these we can morph?", asked Carri

"Yes. Anybody who uses these can morph, even if they don't have the power from the zeo crystal, but they have to go on the quest first. Nobody, zeo powers or not, can use the power from the crystal if they haven't been on the quest. But people who have been on the quest and have used the powers from the crystal can use the zeo powers without the transfer.", Tideus said

"So you're saying I can morph with these crystals if I've gone on the quest and then after using the crystals I can also morph using the real zeo crystal power?", asked Kim trying to straighten things out

"That's the basic idea.", Corcus told her

"So, when do we go on the quest?", asked Rocky

"Now is the time rangers.", Delphine told them

"Alright then. Send us there.", said Tommy

"Wait. Before we let you go, you must know that it is a very dangerous quest, and if you mess up the consequences could be death. However, if you make it back you get the zeo crystals.", Cestro let them know

"But this is the only way. We're in.", Jason informed the Aquitarian Rangers

"There is one thing and one thing alone that will get you threw this quest. However, I can not tell you, this is one thing you'll have to figure out on your own.", said Delphine as she teleported them out

"So, we've been working for those two earth goons and that's why we haven't come for a visit.", said Rito finishing up his story

Katherine slapped her forehead in disgust. "Thank you. That just made my day."

"I know. Ooo ooo ooo! Guess what I...", started Rito but was cut off when Goldar teleported into the cave

"Hiya Goldie.", greeted Rito

"Zedd sent me to make sure that this time you were actually keeping her in her cell.", said Goldar

"Oh yeah. Me and her were having a good old time, talking about my life story and other things dealing with me.", Rito told him

"Torturing the prisoners, eh? Well, I'll tell Zedd. He'll be proud.", said Goldar as he left

"Torturing the prison.... hey!", yelled Rito as he finally got what Goldar said

"Why me?", mumbled Kat as she turned away from Rito to face the wall

The rangers arrived in a desert area. About 20 feet from them one way was a forest, and if you turned the other way it was desert as far as the eye could see.

"Which way?", asked Adam

"I say we hit the desert.", suggested Jason

"My vote is for the forest.", Rocky said

"I think I'm with Rocky on this one. If we go threw the desert, who knows where we'll end up. This is a quest, it's supposed to be challenging. We don't know what's in the forest.", said Tommy

"Then it's settled. The forest it is.", said Kim as she took off for the forest, the others close behind

One by one the rangers went into the forest.

"This is looking darker now.", said Adam who was the last one into the forest

"So I'm not the only one who noticed? You guys didn't happen to bring a flashlight, did you?", asked Carri

Carri got no answer.

"Ok, the question was kind of stupid, but you could at least answer me.", Carri still got no response

"Um... guys? Hey you guys!", Carri yelled after noticing she was all alone

"Carri!", yelled Jason from somewhere to her left

"Jason! Where are you? I can't see a thing it's so dark.", complained Carri

"Me neither.", yelled Kim from the other side of Jason

"Where is everybody?", yelled Tommy from Kim's right, and out of Carri's earshot

"I'm over here!", yelled Rocky, who was so far on Tommy's right Jason and Carri couldn't hear him

"I'm... somewhere to your left!", yelled Adam but only Rocky and Tommy could hear him

"We should stop and figure this out together!", yelled Tommy

"Stop!", yelled Jason getting the message to Carri

"Where is everybody?", asked Carri

"I don't know... hey Tommy, where's Rocky and Adam?", he yelled

"Over here.", Tommy yelled back

"We're all accounted for.", Jason yelled to Carri

"How come I couldn't hear Tommy?", questioned Carri

"I don't know, but I think that we can each only hear two people over from us.", Jason told her

"I can't hear Adam.", Kim yelled over to Carri

"Well, that answers that.", said Carri

"Carri, since your the farthest on the left, you come towards me and we'll work to the right.", said Jason

"Ok.", agreed Carri as she started walking toward the area where Jason's voice was coming from

"I can't believe I'm walking in the forest and I have no idea where I'm going.", complained Carri

"What was that?", asked Jason

"You can hear me?", said a shocked Carri

"Yup. You must be getting closer.", said Jason

Carri continued to walk through the forest. Finally she got within about 20 feet of Jason.

"Ew! Ick! Spiders!", Carri yelled. Spiders were the one thing she hated most in the world.

"Well I've never known a harmless little spider to kill anyone.", yelled Tommy

"Oh yeah? Got any research to back that statement up!", Carri yelled to Tommy

There was a few seconds of silence. "I didn't think so.", Carri said

"Let me guess, Carri ran into a spider.", Rocky yelled over to Tommy

"How did you ever know?", yelled Tommy

"A spider is the only thing that could ever defeat her.", Rocky joked

"Too bad she wasn't here when Scorpina was. She would've pulverized her out of fear.", Adam teased

Carri was walking when all of the sudden a hand grabbed her. And she jumped ten feet in the air.

"Don't do that!", she exclaimed

"Sorry.", Jason apologized. "Grab my hand. We need to stick together."

Carri immediately grabbed Jason's hand. Whatever happens she'd rather do it as a group, not alone.

"Kim, we're coming for you!", yelled Jason

Jason and Carri walked threw the forest. They stuck together, not letting themselves get more that a few centimeters apart. They didn't want to have to go through something like this again. Finally they made there way to Kim.

Jason grabbed Kim's arm and she shrieked.

"Don't worry, he did it to me too.", Carri said trying to comfort her

Jason grabbed Kim's hand.

"Good idea. I'd rather be with you guys than all alone.", said Kim

"We ready?", asked Jason

Carri and Kim nodded their heads yes.

"We're heading your way Tommy!", Jason announced

Once again the rangers made their way through more forest, and once again they stayed close together to avoid separation.

"Tommy!", Kim yelled out into the darkness once they got closer

"Right here.", Tommy said as he stopped Kim dead in her tracks

Kim gave Tommy a big hug, which Tommy naturally returned.

"It's so good to see you.", Kim greeted

"I'm glad to see you too.", said Tommy

"I hate to break it up, but there's no time for chit chat.", said Jason

"Right. Tommy said as he grabbed Kim's free hand

"You're next Rocky!", yelled Carri yelled

The four teens walked towards Rocky, hand in hand in order to stick together. However, Tommy and Kim looked like they wanted more out of the holding hands than either Carri or Jason. You would think they were Rocky and Carri by how close and how together they were.

Rocky made out his four friends coming his way and went to join them.

"Hey guys.", he greeted

"Hi Rocky.", said Carri

"So, have you seen anymore big, scarey spiders?", teased Rocky as he went to stand beside her

Carri elbowed him in the stomach.

"And no, I haven't. Trust me, you would've heard by now if I did.", Carri told him

"Ok.", said Rocky as he grabbed his girlfriends hand and they went on to retrieve Adam

"We're coming!", Tommy let him know

Adam paced around for a while. After a few minutes, he could make out 5 figures coming his way. But he couldn't tell them apart. He recognized Jason, he was the one in the middle. But the two people on either side of him were both absorbed in each other. As they got closer, Adam realized the people on Jason's right were trying not to show their feelings.

Aww, how cute. Tommy and Kim... a couple again? Wouldn't that be nice... but I doubt it will happen. After all, Kim is going back to Florida soon and Tommy is still dating Kat. But they do look cute together. Adam thought.

"We're here.", announced Rocky as he grabbed his friends hand

"Good. Let's go.", said Adam

"Look, there's an opening.", said Kim as she took her's and Tommy's hand and pointed to what she saw

"Funny. I could swear that wasn't there a minute ago.", said Adam. "Oh well. A way out is a way out."

"Come on, let's head that way.", said Jason

And the rangers made their way towards the clearing.

"Oh rats! Those rangers are ruining everything!", Rita yelled as she looked through her telescope

Lord Zedd came up to her. He had been stretching, because he was getting stiff bones from having driven so long.

"What are they doing this time?", Zedd asked

"They're on the quest.", Rita complained

"The quest!", exclaimed Zedd. "I don't believe it. Those Aquitarian Rangers... we must stop them!"

"But how? All of our good monsters and other weapons are on the Lunar Palace. We're still a few days away.", asked Goldar

"As much as I hate to say this, send in the tengas.", Zedd said as he stormed back to the drivers seat

The rangers made it to the opening, only to be greeted by some of Zedd's lackeys.

"Tengas? Who invited them to our quest!", exclaimed Carri

"I don't know. But let's split up and take them.", suggested Tommy

They all nodded their heads in agreement.

They fought the tengas for a few minutes before a group of new foes, which was waiting for new rangers to come along for them to destroy, showed up.

"Oh, ew, what are they!", yelled Kim as she pointed to the monsters

"We are here to keep you from reaching your goal. No rangers have ever made it past us.", one of them said

"Oh, this is great. We've got a never before defeated foe, plus tengas to worry about.", said Kim

"Keep fighting!", yelled Jason

The rangers tried to take on all of their foes at once. The tengas were, well, the tengas and not that hard to handle, considering there were only a few of them there - each ranger was fighting 2 or 3. But the new foe... well, they were ten times a strong as the tengas and even though there was only one there for every ranger they were finding it hard to defeat them

Everybody was getting thrown around by the new guys. Carri kicked a few tengas then was thrown up against a big rock when she tried to go after one of the new enemies.

"I'm not finding this worth my while. Just think I could be at home right now, wat... Ew! Oh yuck! I can't believe it! That's horrible. Aw sick! I'm moving now.", Carri said reacting to the site she saw. She had come across four or five skeletons that she could see of people who had attempted the quest before. There were spiders and snakes making their home there.

"What?", asked Jason

"Dead skeletons. With creepy crawlers residing in them.", Carri complained as she kicked a tenga coming towards her

"Must have been others who have been on the quest... what a way to die.", Kim said as she flung an incoming tenga out of the way

"Ok guys, I think we should regroup.", said Rocky. "We need a plan. I'd hate to end up like the others."

The rangers gathered together, and discovered that they were surrounded by bad guys. They turned to face each other in a quick huddle.

"We're obviously not getting anything done by ourselves. Let's let them come to us. Together, we'll pick them off one by one.", Adam said whispering his suggestion to the others

"Good idea. Let's do it.", said Tommy

The others nodded their heads yes, and they turned around in a circle in fighting stance.

"Alright morons! If you want us, come and get us!", Jason challenged

The tengas seized the opportunity.

One tenga came flying in the direction of Carri and Kim.

"Bad idea bozo.", Kim said as they both kicked him so hard he went flying back and knocked two other tengas over

"You want at us? Eh, whatever. It's your funeral.", said Tommy as he and Jason each grabbed a tenga by their arms and flung them into each other, causing them to fall down dizzy.

"What, you think we're going easy on ya? What planet have you been on for the last few months?", asked Rocky as he and Adam stuck their fists out at the tenga coming after them and the tenga fell to the ground on contact and slid a couple of feet back

This went on for a few minutes, each tenga taking their turn at a beating. Finally, they regrouped and left.

"Ha! Woosies! Let's see you guys defeat the Power Rangers!", Kim yelled after them

"Now it's your turn!", Adam said pointing to whatever it was that lived on the island

The rangers used the same methods as they had with the tengas to send this new foe running.

"Now that they're gone, I believe we have a quest to finish.", announced Jason

"What are we waiting for?", asked Rocky as they headed off to face their next task

"Dad, dad. The rangers are missing! We don't know where they are. Let's send a monster down to destroy earth!", yelled an excited Prince Sprocket as he ran into the room

"So I've noticed. But where are they?", King Mondo wondered aloud

"Who knows dear, but now is the perfect time to take over the world.", said Queen Machina

"You're right. Klank!", Mondo bellowed

"Yes your highness?", Klank asked

"Send a monster down to earth to destroy it.", ordered Mondo

"Right away.", replied Klank

"Oh no! King Mondo is attacking the earth! We must get down there and take care of it.", Cestro announced

"Right. Let's do it.", said Aurico

"It's morphin time!", yelled Delphine

"BLUE AQUITARIAN RANGER!"

"YELLOW AQUITARIAN RANGER!"

"BLACK AQUITARIAN RANGER!"

"RED AQUITARIAN RANGER!"

"WHITE AQUITARIAN RANGER!"

"Ha ha ha! This planet is toast!", yelled the evil monster

"Not so fast!", Delphine said

"Wait! I thought the power rangers were gone!", he exclaimed

"They are, but that doesn't mean you don't have us to deal with!", exclaimed Tideus

"Cogs! Get them!", yelled the angered monster

The Aquitarian Rangers defeated the cogs quickly, then moved onto the monster.

"He needs some help.", said Klank as he and Orbus made the monster grow

"We need Battle Borg power now!", yelled Corcus

"Red Battle Borg!"

"White Battle Borg!"

"Yellow Battle Borg!"

"Black Battle Borg!"

"Blue Battle Borg!"

The Aquitarian Rangers quickly defeated the monster through the Battle Borgs. Then they returned to Aquitar to continue to watch the rangers on their quest.

The rangers had come up to a dead end. They were standing on the edge of a cliff, where two ropes were sitting about 5 feet apart. The ropes cut off at the edge of the cliff.

"Aw man, now what. It looks like there was a bridge here, but obviously it's not anymore. This looks like the end.", complained Kim as she sat down on slab of marble that was embedded in a spot near the ropes

Tommy looked over at Kim, and noticed drawling on the marble. "Hey Kim, get up for a second."

Kim did as she was told.

"Look at this. Do you have any idea what it means?", asked Tommy

The picture was of an Egyptian suspended in mid air walking between two cliffs. There were people falling on both sides of him.

"I think I've seen it before.", said Carri

"Where? A history book?", Rocky asked

"Or an Egyptian book?", Adam asked

"Who cares where you saw it, can you translate it?", asked Jason

"First of all, I may have seen it in a history book when I did a project on Egypt, but I clearly remember it from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.", Carri told them

"You saw it in a movie!", Tommy exclaimed

"You've seen those movies?", Kim asked

Carri shrugged her shoulders. "My brother was into them. We could watch my movies unless we saw his first. And in defense of the movies, they don't use any basic facts that aren't real."

"Then tell us what it means.", requested Jason

"Well, in the movie it comes into play when Indiana is standing on the edge of a cliff staring at the other side of the cliff and trying to get to the other side to get the grail. However, there is no bridge connecting the two cliffs. What the picture says is that to cross over safely, you have to give a leap of faith.", she explained

"Ok. But faith in what?", asked Adam

"God.", Carri told him

"But this is a quest for powers. Why would a leap of faith be necessary?", Rocky wondered

"I don't think it's faith in God.", said Tommy

"Then what?", asked Kim

Carri walked to the very edge of the cliff. "I don't know what to have faith in, but I know we have faith in each other, and that's good enough for me. Grab my hand someone, and let's go for it."

Rocky reached out and grabbed her hand. "If we all hold hands and you start walking across, there's no way you could fall. It's worth a shot."

Kim and Tommy joined hands, then Kim grabbed Rocky's hand. "We can do this if we stick together.", Kim said

Jason grabbed Tommy's hand and Adam grabbed Jason's.

"I may not have faith in much, but I do have faith in the fact that we can do anything as long as we put our minds to it, even if that means were crossing and invisible bridge.", said Jason

"Here goes nothing.", said Carri as she lifted her foot up to take the first step

Carri wasn't quick to throw her foot down. She slowly placed it down in front of her, praying that she would hit land and not air. As she put her foot down, she thought she felt land under it, so she moved her other foot onto the bridge.

"Hey! Look at this! There really is a bridge here!", exclaimed Carri

Carri continued to walk and Rocky, Kim, Tommy, Jason and Adam followed.

Kim looked down to the wild river below them. "Ok, so this is higher than the balance beam.", she muttered

"Are you afraid of heights?", asked Tommy

"Who me? No! A gymnast can't be afraid of heights. However, a gymnast is also not expected to do the balance beam hundreds of feet in the sky.", Kim told him

"Ah.", Tommy replied

Carri quickly traveled to the other side.

"Made it!", she exclaimed as she reached land

Rocky was the next one to cross over, and he was quickly followed by the others. As soon as they were all safely across, they stopped holding hands.

Jason walked up to the big stone cave sitting in front of them. The cave had a stoned door, and the door was shut.

"Look.", said Jason as he pointed to the emblem on the front of the door

As they gathered around the door, they saw a circle, with five shapes on the inside.

"This must be the right place.", said Adam

"There's only one way to find out.", Kim told them

"Open the door.", Jason said in a low voice because he knew the others knew that

"Come on then.", said Tommy

Tommy started to push open the door, but it wouldn't work. Jason joined him, but the door still wouldn't budge. Rocky and Adam quickly joined their friends. Kim and Carri stood to the side watching the guys try and push the door open.

"It won't budge!", exclaimed Rocky

"It has to.", said Adam

"Come on guys, one more try.", said Jason

"Ok. On the count of three. One... two... three.", said Tommy as they all pushed the door

The result was the same.

"Let us help.", said Kim as she and Carri wondered over to the door

"I don't think...", Jason started but stopped when he saw the evil look he was getting from the girls

Kim turned to Carri. "Remind me to get him later for that."

Carri nodded her head.

"Ok, one more time, on the count of three.", said Jason

The girls went and stood in front of the door, ready to push.

"One... two... three.", said Adam

They all pushed the door. To their surprise, the door slowly opened.

"Ha! I knew we'd make a difference.", Kim said bragging

Once the door was completely opened, the rangers went inside and the door shut behind them.

"Wow. Look at this!", exclaimed Carri

The walls of the room were glowing in five basic colors. In the center of the room was a five foot poll. About a a half of a foot down from the poll was a circle with a whole in the center where the poll came up. While the guys stood there and checked out the room, the girls went over to the middle of the room.

"These colors look familiar?", asked Kim

Carri looked at it. The circle was split into five different colors, pink, yellow, blue, green and red. The top of the poll was black.

Kim went over and put both her hands on the pink spot of the circle. Carri went beside her and placed her hands on the yellow part.

"Hey guys, come here.", Kim called

Rocky was standing the closest and he made it there first.

"What?", he asked

"Look.", Carri said motioning to the circle

"If I put my hands here, will it do something?", asked Rocky

The girls shrugged their shoulders.

"It's worth a try.", said Kim

Rocky placed his hands on the blue piece.

"Come on boys! You are so slow.", kidded Kim

"Coming.", said Tommy as he and the other two made there way over

"Join us.", said Carri when they made it there

Tommy put his hands on the red spot and Adam on the green.

"Is something supposed to happen?", questioned Adam

"Good question.", said Tommy as he looked at the top of the poll. "Hey Jason, this is black. Maybe something will happen if you put your hands here."

"Why not.", he said as he placed his hands onto the top of the poll

As soon as Jason's hands were settled, a rumbling noise was heard. The walls started shaking. Suddenly, light shot up through all of the rangers. The beams of light were the same color as their zeo color. The rangers could feel something going on inside of them, there was a weird sensation. Then all 6 of them disappeared.

"Look!", Tideus exclaimed as he pointed at the 6 beams of light that were teleporting in front of him

"Welcome back.", Aurico greeted as the rangers looked around and realized where they were

"We made it! Alright!", exclaimed Tommy as the group exchanged high fives

"And in making it you have learned the most important lesson any ranger could learn.", Delphine told them

"Which is?", asked Adam

"Wait, let me take a shot at this one. Everything we did, we did it because we worked as a team. Crossing the bridge, defeating the bad guy... the thing we learned from this was if we work together we are a much powerful force than if we work as one.", said Tommy

"Very good Tommy.", Corcus said applauding him for his intelligence

"Now, at the end of the quest, what did you notice?", asked Cestro

"I felt a weird sensation come over me as the colors shot up.", said Carri

"Me too.", said Kim as the others nodded their heads

"That sensation you felt was the power entering your body. Not the zeo powers, or even one specific power, but all power. The powers inside you, which have always been there, have been magnified. And those powers plus these crystals will allow you to destroy the force field and regain control of the zeo powers and the Power Chamber.", Delphine told them

"This new power inside us, is that was causes the crystal to glow?", asked Rocky

"Yes Rocky.", Tideus said

"Wow. Just out of curiosity, are we going to physically notice this power inside us?", asked Adam

Delphine smiled. "No, but when you wear the crystal you will know that the powers are there. They will never be anything that you will be consciously aware of. They are not actual powers, but powers which magnify your strength and inner self."

"So we won't know they're there?", Adam said to make sure he understood

Delphine shook her head no. "Just like you never have. All it is is more strength and more soul."

"So, now that we're ready for Zedd, let's do it.", said Tommy

"As soon as you put these on, you'll morph. Then you'll have a few minutes to get in and destroy the force field.", Aurico said handing out the crystals

"Ready?", Jason asked

Everyone nodded their heads yes.

"Then let's do it.", said Jason

Everybody put there necklaces on and automatically morphed. Jason put his on and, because he was ready to call for the permanent powers, he morphed.

"GOLD RANGER POWER!"

And with that, Cestro teleported them out.

They teleported to a few feet away from the entrance of the cave.

"Let's head in.", said Tommy as he led them into the cave

"That's it, your finished!", announced Jason as he made it into the cave

"Rangers! Long time no see. Uhh, I guess you get to fight tengas now.", Rito said as several tengas along with Goldar appeared

"Attack!", yelled Goldar

The tengas rushed towards the rangers. They all fought the tengas. They were fighting like they had just come across new found energy. And in a way they had. This was the first time they had morphed in days.

Kim was having the time of her life. "It feels great to be back."

"We need to hurry, our powers won't last much longer.", said Rocky

"Then we will destroy you!", Goldar said

"Sure you will.", said Kim

Kim and Carri were the first ones to break free of the tenga fight.

"Let's destroy it.", said Carri as she and Kim pulled out their blasters

As they were getting ready to shoot, their powers disappeared.

"Ha. We've got you now.", said Rito

"I don't think so.", said Carri as she did a roundoff and ended up in his face

"May I borrow this?", she asked politely as she grabbed his sword

"No you can't!", Rito said as he struggled for his sword

Kim came up and kicked Rito in the stomach. Rito let go of the sword.

"Hey look, Kim's back!", said Rito as Carri took the sword to the force field device and Kim followed her

"And she snatched your sword!", yelled Goldar

"Oh. Right. Hehe.", said Rito as he looked up and saw Carri getting ready to slice open the device. "Wait, no, don't.... oh man. Ed will never let me hear the end of it this time."

Goldar slapped his forehead. "Why did I get stuck with such morons?", he muttered

Carri went up to Kat's prison. "Call on your morphers.", she ordered

"Why?", asked Kat

"Just do it.", said Carri

Kat called on her morphers.

"Now give them to me.", said Carri as Kat handed them over

Carri went and gave them to Kim.

"It's morphin time!", yelled Tommy

"ZEO RANGER I, PINK!"

"ZEO RANGER II, YELLOW!"

"ZEO RANGER III, BLUE!"

"ZEO RANGER IV, GREEN!"

"ZEO RANGER V, RED!"

"We're back, and now we're going to make you sorry you messed with us.", said Tommy

"I've been waiting for this for a long time.", said Goldar as he took his sword and went after Tommy so they could continue on where they left if last time they met, when Tommy was the White Ranger

Tommy called on his zeo weapon, his sword and he and Goldar got started.

While they were fighting, Rocky went after Rito. "I still have a bone to pick with you."

"Ok. Hold on.", said Rito as he leaned down and grabbed his sword from the space where Carri had thrown it

Rocky called on his zeo weapon so that he and Rito could fight.

While Rocky and Tommy were going at it with Rito and Goldar, the rest of the rangers took on some tengas.

"This is for jumping me in front of the Power Chamber. And this is for just plain being annoying.", said Carri as she issued some serious punches to a tenga

"You people ruined my time off. I don't appreciate that.", Kim said as she pounded some tengas

"Can we not go on a quest without you getting in our way?", Adam asked the two tengas he was busy knocking into next week

"This is what you get for not asking before you strip us of our powers.", said Jason as he took the Gold Power Staff and ran threw a group of tengas, knocking them all down

Rocky gave Rito one hard, swift kick and he fell back.

"Come on, let it up a little. You're really killing me out here.", Rito whined

"That's the point.", said Rocky as he kicked him in the head causing him to flip over backwards

"I quit. I don't get paid enough to take this abuse from you. Besides, Ted is going to kill me and I'm not up for getting wacked twice today.", said Rito as he left

Rocky went to join the others, but as he got there he noticed that the tengas were departing, after being issued one of their worse defeats.

"There's no mercy for you Tommy. When I get done with you, you'll be sorry you ever joined the side of good!", said Goldar as he came at Tommy

"The only thing I ever regret", Tommy started as he stuck is sword up in defense, "is working for Rita."

Tommy flung Goldar back and as Goldar looked up, he saw the other rangers watching the fight.

"Wait? Where's Rito? That little... I'll be back for you later Tommy.", Goldar growled as he left

"Yes! We're back and as good as ever!", said Carri

"Alright!", exclaimed Adam

Kim stuck her hand up in the air to receive high fives. "Score one for the good guys.", she said as they all exchanged high fives

"Ah hem.", said Kat who was still behind bars

The rangers powered down.

"Are you ok?", Tommy asked

"Yes. Thank you.", said Kat as Kim gave her back her morphers

"You should be able to teleport out now. We have to get back to Aquitar.", Jason told her

Kat pushed a button on her communicator and in a flash of pink light she was out.

"Let's go.", said Rocky as they all teleported back

"Well done rangers.", Corcus congratulated

"We couldn't have done it without your help.", Adam said

"And for that we thank you.", Kim told them

"But you did complete the quest for the crystals on your own. And that we had nothing to do with.", Delphine said

"Speaking of the crystals, here.", Jason said taking his off and handing it back

Delphine stuck her hand out as if to tell Jason to keep it.

"You have used all the power from it. Not that it won't prove to be helpful in the future. But, they're yours to keep. You earned them on the quest so now they belong to you.", Aurico told them

"I'm not wearing this. Here, you can keep an eye on it for me. Now you'll have a blue and yellow one, for us.", Rocky said as he took his necklace off and placed it around Carri's neck

"I'll put mine in a safe somewhere.", said Adam

"Me too.", said Jason

"Since it will shine for you, will you wear it?", Tommy asked Kim

"I'd be delighted.", she answered

Tommy took off the necklace and placed it around Kim's neck.

"I'll always keep it close to me.", said Kim

"Well rangers, as much as we've enjoyed your company, I believe you have a Power Chamber to get to.", said Tideus

"Yes we do, thanks to you.", said Jason

"Bye!", said Carri as they all waved and left

The rangers appeared in the Power Chamber.

"Hey Billy!", exclaimed Kim as she went over and gave him a hug

"Good to see you.", Tommy said

"Hey, it's good to see anything.", joked Billy

"Rangers, it was horrible. We were trapped in here and we had no idea what you were doing or what Mondo, or as Kat has told us Zedd, was doing and... Ay ai ai! It was hard.", Alpha said explaining what they had been through

"Well, it's good to be back.", said Adam

"RANGERS, I MUST APPLAUD YOU. I SEE FROM THE NECKLACES THAT TWO OF YOU ARE WEARING THAT YOU HAVE COMPLETED THE QUEST. NOW YOU HAVE PROVEN YOU ARE TRUE POWER RANGERS, READY FOR WHATEVER THE WORLD THROWS AT YOU.", Zordon said

"That's right. Neither Zedd nor Mondo can stop a ranger.", said Rocky

"Especially when those rangers work together.", Jason added

"You know, it's too bad I can't stay and ranger with you some more. Maybe after the Pan Global Games. But if you guys are ever in trouble and need another ranger, you know who to call.", said Kim

"So you really do miss rangering?", asked Tommy

"Ok, so I did tease you for having no life, but I would be a ranger again in a heartbeat.", Kim said letting them know how she feels

"Well Kim, speaking for the group, we'd love to have you again.", said Carri

"Yeah.", Tommy said dreamily as he looked into her eyes

"Well guys, I think it's about time to go home.", Kat said interrupting the moment

"Home? Wow. Been a long time since I've been there.", Adam said

"Time to go make up where I've been the past two days.", said Rocky

"You can just say that there was a big party for some fancy people and you had to be there to work.", joked Jason

"I'll be the most creative and tell the truth.", stated Carri

"Sure. You'd be in Charter Pines within 24 hours.", Tommy told her

"Eh.", said Carri

"Well, it hasn't been proven yet that she doesn't belong there.", Rocky teased

"Excuse me? Well then, I hope you weren't planning on talking to me later.", said Carri

"Naw. That's what I've got Kim for.", said Rocky as he went and put his arm around Kim

"If that's the way it's going to be. Come on Tommy.", she said as she put her arm around him and he put his around her

Tommy and Carri and Rocky and Kim each took their arms off of each other so they could go home.

"Bye.", said Carri as she waved

"See you tomorrow.", said Kim

"Bye Tommy.", Kat said before she kissed her boyfriend

Alpha teleported the three of them home.

"Well, I guess we'd better be going.", said Adam

"Later guys.", Jason said as he teleported out

Adam, Rocky and Tommy were quick to follow.

"Well Kim, it's too bad you have to go.", said Tommy as he gave her a hug good bye

Tommy, Carri and Rocky had taken Kim to the airport the next day. She had practice the next day, and so she had to get back.

"It was good to see you again.", said Kim as she returned the hug

"We were glad to have you here.", said Rocky as he gave her a hug which she returned, but with not as much love as she gave to Tommy

"Bye Rocky. How I will ever live without you, I don't know.", kidded Kim

"Well Kim, we didn't get to have as much shopping time as we wanted.", complained Carri

"That's ok. You've got my number, I've got yours, we'll hook up some after the games and shop. You know there's this great mall in Florida I have to take you to.", said Kim

"Sounds great. Don't forget though, you have to keep in touch.", ordered Carri

"I will. With all of you.", Kim said as she picked up her bags and headed for the plane

"So, Carri, did you enjoy having Kim as the pink ranger?", Kat asked her cousin when she got home

"It was a change. But Kim's a nice person, and I think we got a long really well. I think Kim and I could become great friends.", Carri told her

"That's... good.", said Kat although she wasn't sure she meant it

"She's nice. And she thinks like me.", said Carri

"Watch out. That's all we need is two people on your wavelength around here.", Kat joked

"Hey. That wasn't very nice.", Carri said pouting

Kat laughed at her cousin, who looked rather silly.

"So, tell me about this quest.", Kat asked

"Well... it was one of the biggest challenges I've ever faced.", said Carri

"What about that necklace?", asked Kim as she pointed to Carri's chain, which was now holding both her's and Rocky's crystal. She had put the spare chain in a safe place.

"This? Well, the crystal hold some of the Zeo Crystal's power. That's how we morphed when everything else was down.", she explained

"Really? Wow? Do you mind if I see it?", Kat wondered

"No, not at all.", said Carri as she took it off and handed it to Kat

For the first time ever, Carri saw what the crystal's would look like if they didn't glow. Since Kat didn't go on the quest with the others, the crystal didn't glow in her hands.

Kat had a depressed look on her face. "Why isn't it glowing?"

Carri took the necklace back and put it around her neck. "Don't worry. There's only six people in the world it glows for, and I don't think I have to tell you who."

Kat shook her head no.

"Well, I'm off to the Youth Center. I'm supposed to meet Rocky there sometime this afternoon.", Carri told her

"Ok. Bye.", said Kat as Carri walked out the door

How come Kim is all the way in Florida yet I still feel as though she's making a big impact on my life. This isn't fair. But now that I have Tommy back to myself. But who knows what went on when Rita and Zedd had me. Kat wondered.

Carri was waiting for Rocky in the Youth Center. She was sitting around talking with Matt, Jerry, Luke and John.

"So, where were you the past two days?", asked Matt

"I was... out of town.", Carri told her friends

"You mean you missed it!", exclaimed Jerry

"Missed what?", asked Carri

"Monster attacks.", said John

"Oh?", said Carri raising an eyebrow

"There were these metal things, silver with gold faces. And they attacked us and stalked us.", explained Luke

"Until the power rangers came along.", Jerry told her

"But not the earth power rangers. The rangers of... Aqualand...Aquaworld...Aqua...something.", said Matt

"Aw man. And I missed it all! That sucks.", complained Carri

Rocky came up to Carri and her friends. "What did you miss?"

"Did you know that while we were out of town there were rangers from Aqua something here? Can you believe we missed that?", asked Carri

"Of all days to go out of town... you know how much I like keeping up with the rangers.", said Rocky

"Well, we saw a lot. Anything you want to know, you call me and I'll spill all.", offered Luke

"Ok, I might just take you up on that.", Rocky told him

Carri stood up and greeted Rocky.

"Nice necklace.", he said sounding like he'd never seen it before

"I know.", said Carri as she leaned in and kissed her boyfriend

"Carri and Rocky sitting in a tree. K-I-S...", Matt started but was cut off when Carri kicked the chair beside her so it would hit Matt (who was standing up)

"Aw man, you didn't have to go there.", whined Matt as he laid on the floor in pain

"What are you talking about?", asked Carri

"When you kicked the chair, you didn't just kick it straight, you kicked it straight and up.", Jerry told her

Carri busted out laughing.

"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to!", she apologized

"Don't believe her. You know she was gunning for you.", Rocky said

Carri continued to laugh, even though she was truly sorry. She ended up facing Rocky and putting her head on his shoulder and laughing, just so Matt wouldn't notice.

"Tommy, I'm glad you came over.", said Kat as she opened the door and let her boyfriend in

"Hey, where else would I be? I haven't seen you in a while, thanks to Rita and Zedd.", said Tommy as he and Kat went to sit on the couch

"So, Tommy, tell me. Did you enjoy having Kim fighting by your side again?", Kat asked

"Yeah. It was just like the good old days.", Tommy answered

Kat looked at the floor, nervous about asking the next question. "Was it better than it is when...when I'm there?", Kat asked quietly after she got up the courage

Tommy put his hand on Kat's cheek and lifted her face up. "What Kim and I had is over, it's in the past. Sure we still have good times, but you and I are together now. Kim's coming back didn't change that.", he comforted

"Really?", Kat asked

"Really. Kim and I had something special, but it's all over. You're the one I want to be with now.", Tommy answered

Kat and Tommy leaned in and kissed each other. It was a long, passionate kiss, the one that Kat was longing for ever since Kim came back to town.

What you don't know is, I still have feelings for Kim. But she dumped me... and I'm with you now, and I do love you, but what I wouldn't do for another date with Kim. Tommy thought as he continued to kiss Kat.

Kat and Tommy broke off. "Let's do something. It's been a while since we've been out, just the two of us.", Kat suggested

"Ok. There's this great little restaurant downtown. It just opened. It's called... um...", Tommy let his voice trail off

"I know what you're talking about. Let's go.", said Kat

Kat and Tommy stood up and Kat grabbed Tommy's hand. Kat and Tommy shared one last kiss before walking out the door.

Kim walked off the plane and stretched. She saw her friend and teammate, Kelly, standing about twenty feet away. She waved as she walked up to her.

"So how was it?", Kelly asked

"I had fun. I got to see Tommy, Rocky, Adam, Jason, and Kat again. And I finally met someone who equals my shopping capability.", joked Kim

"That's good. Because we all know I can't.", said Kelly as they walked away

"We had a lot of fun. I got a chance to do some things I haven't done since I left.", Kim told her

"Like date Tommy?", questioned Kelly

"No, Tommy's dating Kat now.", Kim informed her

"Oh really? Wow. It's too bad that...", Kelly started but quickly switched subjects when she noticed the down look on Kim's face "Anyway, we've got practice bright and early tomorrow."

"Yay. Can't wait.", Kim said

I knew what she was going to say. It's too bad that I broke it off with Tommy. I now know that. If only... if only Tommy wasn't with Kat and I wasn't here. Then Tommy and I would be together. But I can't let Tommy know that. He thinks I wanted him to move on, that I was cheering for him and Kat. I just have to make it through the Pan Global Games. Then I can go home. Maybe even be the pink ranger. And maybe get back together with the love of my life, Tommy. Kim thought as she walked through the airport and back to her gymnastics life in Florida, while back home her true love was on a date with Kat, who was leading the life Kim wished she had.

"Come on Tommy.", said Kat as the couple grabbed hands and followed Rocky and Carri

Jason looked over at Adam. "I think we'll be fine if we walk out of here by ourselves."

"You read my mind.", said Adam

And with that the last two teens jetted out and to the van.

"We have been trying for four years to destroy those pathetic Power Rangers. And if the ex-King Mondo from the former Machine Empire hadn't come bothered us, we may have done it by now. But enough of that. I have an idea, and a very good one at that.", said Lord Zedd

"That's what you say every time. This time it had better be good.", Rita pointed out

"It is. Now, we have sent the rangers back in time before, but not like this. What we're going to do right here is go back. Way back. Back into time. Before the rangers were even born. Then we can attack the rangers parents and stop those pesky power brats from ever being born. All we have to do is place the Time Crystal in the right place at the right time and we're set.", Zedd explained his plan

"That plan has some possibilities.", Rita said

"Ooo, ooo, can I place the Crystal?", asked Rito

"This is a very delicate job. You can mess one think and everything goes wrong.", Zedd said reluctantly handing over the crystal

"Don't worry Ed, you can trust me.", said Rito

And with that he teleported off.

"We're winning! Alright!", exclaimed Rocky

"Thanks to Mike.", Carri pointed out

"I know there was a reason we keep him on board.", said Rocky

"Well, this is fun.", said Kat

"Much better then that movie we went to see this afternoon.", Tommy commented

"What did you go see?", asked Adam

"Fool's Rush In.", Kat told him

"Oh, I'm sorry.", Jason said to Tommy

"Jase! You're so mean!", Carri exclaimed

"Hey, if Emily ever dragged me to a romantic comedy like that, I would be mad.", Jason told her

As the teens were watching the game, they noticed something strange going on. All of the sudden the rangers were sucked back into time, not knowing where they were headed.

"You idiot! You didn't get directions before you left! You planted it in both the wrong place and at the wrong time!", Zedd yelled at Rito

"Wait a minute Zedd, it appears that Rito as sent the five rangers back into some year, BC. They are out of our hair for a while now.", said Rita

"For a while. But as soon as they get back....", Zedd let his voice trail off because he was too mad to think of a decent punishment for Rito

"But what if they don't come back?", Goldar asked

"Then Rito gets to live.", Zedd said

Carri looked around at her surroundings. She was in a clearing in the woods, and she wasn't exactly sure where.

"Xena? Is that you? You know you were supposed to meet me over an hour ago. Where have you...", the blond girl stopped short as she entered the clearing from the woods and realized she wasn't talking to her friend

"Who are you? And what are you wearing? You look more available than the girls who work with Meg.", said the girl

"My name is Carri. And I'm wearing clothes. And I don't know who the hell Meg is. And I want to know who you are and where I am?", Carri asked

"I'm Gabrielle. And you're in Greece, heading towards the town of Trechous.", Gabrielle told her. "And those are not clothes."

"If you can't tell, I'm not from here.", Carri pointed out

"Where are you from?", asked Gabrielle

"Angel Grove.", Carri told her

"Where?", asked a confused Gabrielle

"It's... never mind.", Carri said realizing that she wasn't even sure what time period she was in

"Well, don't worry because we'll help you fit in.", said another new voice

"We will?", Gabrielle asked this stranger

"Yes we will. My name is Xena. Come with us and we'll get you dressed.", Xena told her

"In what? Because, no offence, but I'm sure as all not dressing like Gabrielle.", Carri said

"Hey!", Gabrielle exclaimed

"I'll find you something. Maybe something like mine. Is that good for you?", asked Xena

"I can work with that.", Carri told her

"Ok. Follow me.", said Xena as she and her horse Argo walked off

"Xena.", Gabrielle hissed as she walked to catch up to her friend, "Why are we helping her?"

"I don't know. I feel compelled to help her. This strange sensation came over me. Besides, why not? She's obviously lost and she could use our help.", Xena told her

"Whatever. Since you're bigger than me, and you're the one with the sword, whatever you say goes.", Gabrielle told her

Xena laughed at her friend. "I know."

"How do I look?", asked Carri

Carri was wearing an outfit which was a skirt kind of like Xena's and a top which started above the waist and went over her shoulders with two leather straps. Carri also had a sword.

"Fine.", Xena told her

"You let her have a sword? You didn't even offer me one.", Gabrielle complained

Xena rolled her eyes. "You wouldn't use it. Besides, she claims to know how to use one."

"Prove it.", Gabrielle challenged

Carri shrugged her shoulders as it was ok with her. Besides, she was a power ranger and it wasn't like that was something she hadn't done before. Of course she was morphed, but it would be fun to see what happened. Carri and Xena both drew their swords. They basically sparred with swords for a few minutes. Carri ended up being able to hold her own against Xena, however Xena did let up on her a little.

"I'm impressed.", said Gabrielle

"Thank you.", said Carri

"Wait. What's that ugly bracelet? I don't think you should go around sporting that.", Gabrielle told her

"Watch me. It has sentimental value.", Carri said

Gabrielle just shrugged her shoulders. "Ok."

"Now, come on. We're behind.", said Xena as she led the trio off to their next destination

Iolaus was sitting in a bar having a drink in the middle of the town of Trechous. He looked up an noticed a woman coming in with a box and guards and a big group of people surrounding her.

"What's up with that?", Iolaus asked the bartender

"That lady's carrying the Hope Diamond. Seems as though everybody in all of Greece wants to get a look at it.", the bartender informed him

"Oh no! The diamond! It's missing!", exclaimed a woman

"Autolycus!", exclaimed Iolaus as he ran out the bar in search of the diamond

"This my boy, is how great lives are lead. You steal something important and you sell it for much more than it's worth.", Autolycus told his companion, who he had helped for some reason he didn't really know

"Don't you worry about getting caught?", the stranger, who was none other than Rocky, asked

"Me? Get caught? Ha. That's why they call me the King of Thieves.", Autolycus boasted

"But I'll bet the King of Thieves didn't count on me being one of the first ones to hear about the stolen diamond.", Iolaus said as he appeared out of nowhere

"Busted. Now we're both going to get in trouble. All because you had to steal some diamond.", Rocky complained

"Wait a minute here. Now, Iolaus is a very reasonable man. I'm sure he'll agree that this diamond would be more worth while as a quick source of income.", Autolycus said

"Not hardly. Now, hand it over.", said Iolaus sticking out his hand

"Aw, come on...", Autolycus started but Iolaus gave him a stern look. "Alright fine. Here it is."

"Now what?", asked Rocky

"Now we wait for my friends who should be here any minute now and then we're taking the diamond back.", said Iolaus

"Don't worry. He's not turning us in. Our biggest problem is where we're going to find something big enough to make up for the money we just lost on that diamond.", Autolycus told him. "So, what are you guys doing?"

"By you guys I assume you mean me, Xena, Gabrielle and as soon as we return this diamond and head off, Herc. We're going to meet up and try to cut off Drecos' army."

"Oh yeah. I've heard about those attacks. Mind if we join you?", asked Autolycus

"Only if you promise not to steal the rare jewels they're carrying.", Iolaus told him

"Who me? I would never dream of it.", Autolycus said

"I don't trust you, but I'll let you come.", Iolaus gave in

"Iolaus? What are you doing here?", asked Xena as she approached the three men

"Getting this diamond back. Come on, before we go find Herc we have to return the Hope Diamond.", Iolaus told her

"Autolycus! How come it seems like every time we meet you're stealing something?", asked Gabrielle

"That's because I'm...", Autolycus started but got cut off

"The King of Thieves. We know. By the way, Carri this is Iolaus, Autolycus and... I don't know him.", Xena said trying to do the introductions

Carri and Rocky had been staring at each other for a while. Carri wanted to believe it was him, but wasn't sure until she saw the communicator.

Carri ran up and gave him a hug, which he returned.

"Look at that. She doesn't even know his name and she's hugging him.", Iolaus pointed out

"How does he get all that luck?", asked Autolycus

The two moved into a deep passionate kiss and all four of the others eyes got wide as saucers.

"I thought I was alone. I've tried the communicator but...", Carri started and Rocky finished

"They don't work. I know. That was the first thing I tried. I'm so glad you're here.", Rocky said

"I wonder where the others are, if they're even here.", Carri said

"I don't know I...", Rocky said getting cut off by Xena

"Ah hem.", she said grabbing there attention. "That's better. Now, I believe you owe us an explanation."

"This is Rocky. He's my boyfriend. If you haven't figured it out already, we are seriously in the wrong time. And I have no idea how to get back.", Carri informed them

"Well, it looks like you're stuck here for now. You welcome to come with us until you get back home. Or for the rest of time, if that's what it takes.", Xena offered

"The rest of time? I sure hope not.", Rocky said sadly

A moment of silence fell over the group.

"Come on, we had better get moving. We're already behind schedule.", Iolaus said as they all headed off back to the town

"Zordon?", he said into his communicator

"YES JASON?", asked Zordon

"The guys, they just disappeared!", exclaimed Jason

"WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? YOUR FRIENDS ARE STILL WHERE THEY SHOULD BE.", said Zordon

"No they're not! We were at the game and they got sucked into some sort of portal and nobody seems to even know they were ever there!", Jason explained

"IF WHAT YOU SAY IS TRUE, THEN OUR SENSORS ARE OFF BECAUSE THEY SAY THAT THE RANGERS HAVE BEEN SITTING IN THEIR SEATS FOR THE PAST HOUR. TELEPORT TO THE POWER CHAMBER IMMEDIATELY.", Zordon ordered

"Right.", Jason agreed as he hit a button on the communicator and teleported off

---

"Give me that. Ha. Now I'll take your money and use it for something useful. Your's too.", said the leader of a gang as he took away defenseless people's money

"I don't recommend you do that.", said Hercules as he stepped in

"And who's going to stop me?", asked the gang leader

"We will.", said Herc's new friend, the person he helped out for some reason, Tommy

"I don't think you should help in this.", Hercules told Tommy

"I always help the innocent in trouble.", Tommy told him

"In that case.", said Herc as he and Tommy started to beat up the gang

Tommy and Hercules beat them rather quickly and returned the people their money.

"Thank you.", one lady said

"Any time.", said Hercules

"There you are. Always looking out for everyone. Well, come on. We have a lot of work to do.", Iolaus said as he approached his best friend

"Iolaus. Hi. I'd like you to meet..", Hercules got ready to do the introductions but was cut off

"Tommy. Man, you don't know how good it is to see you.", Rocky said as he and Carri approached their friend

"I was beginning to believe that I was alone.", said Tommy

"Once again, no introductions needed.", commented Gabrielle

"Well, Tommy, are you coming to fight Drecos with us?", asked Xena

"If it's for the good of the people, count me in.", Tommy told them

"Alright then. Let's go. We're already behind schedule.", said Iolaus

"By the way, as I can see no one else plans to do so, I'm Autolycus, this is Iolaus, Xena and Gabrielle.", Autolycus said to Tommy

"Nice to meet you.", said Tommy

The eight of them started heading off towards the army. Xena and Hercules led the way, followed by Iolaus, Autolycus and Gabrielle. Tommy, Rocky and Carri were lagging behind so they could talk.

"So by the looks of things we're in a time in early BC.", said Tommy

"And in Greece.", Carri pointed out

"But that still doesn't explain why we can't contact someone.", Rocky said

"Well, Zordon said the power has been around for a while... but we don't know much else. Most likely there is somebody out there, somewhere, and this is a lot earlier time. Maybe the frequency isn't as strong on the communicators as it is now.", Tommy suggested

"That sounds acceptable, for now.", said Carri as Rocky nodded his head in agreement

"Look, there they are.", Hercules said as he pointed

"Alright. Now here's what we're going to do.", said Xena as they huddled in for a talk

"Ai ai ai! It appears that there was a faint time warp signal, to faint for our sensors to detect. The rangers were taken back in time.", Alpha told Jason

"What was the source?", Jason asked

"That is yet to be determined, but I'll keep...", Alpha was interrupted by the sound of the alarm, "Ai ai ai!"

"What are we going to do? The guys are gone and I don't have my gold ranger power any more.", a worried Jason asked

"I WILL CONTACT TREY AND ASK HIM TO COME PROTECT THE EARTH UNTIL WE ARE ABLE TO RETRIEVE THE RANGERS.", Zordon told them

"Alright.", agreed Jason

The enemy soldiers were creeping through the woods, looking for their first victim. All of the sudden, what looked like a big gold ring, Xena's chakram to be exact, came flying out of the trees quickly followed by Xena and Carri.

"What the?", asked one of the soldiers who had no time to react before his throat was sliced by the flying chakram

"Who's next?", asked Xena as she replaced the chakram on her belt and the hand to hand combat began

All throughout the woods, much the same was going on, except without the chakram. The other 3 teams, which had been strategically placed around the forest, were attacking their victims. Rocky and Autolycus had some soldiers, Tommy and Hercules had some more, while Gabrielle and Iolaus rounded out the troops.

Xena was having fun fighting the troops until she noticed their leader, the one figure standing and watching.

"Drecos.", she said

"Xena. Long time no see. How's everything been? Good I hope. I've been keeping myself busy, attacking random villages, getting past certain obstacles certain people put in my way. But enough about me, let's talk about you. How have you been?", Drecos asked

"Been great up until I heard about a certain army trying to take over the world. Now I'm here to stop them.", Xena told him

"I don't think so.", Drecos said as he clapped his hands and at least two dozen soldiers appeared out of no where

"Behind you!", Xena yelled to Carri

Carri turned around just in time to see what Xena saw, and she quickly responded by killing the guy who tried to attack her. But she wasn't fast enough to attack the dozen of them that were on her, and neither was Xena. After a tiresome fight, the soldiers had the two girls in their grasp.

"Well, Xena. Look at this. I am holding all the cards now. And as soon as we're finished here, we're heading off to destroy the rest of your team.", Drecos said as he stuck his finger out and pointed it at a soldier. "Come here."

The soldier, who was dressed like any other soldier with only his eyes showing, was attentively watching the fight. He quickly came when called upon.

"Meet my favorite soldier. You could say he just dropped out of no where. For some strange reason, he and I got along very well. And now, I'm going to let him make his first important kill. We'll start with your friend here. I'd hate for you to miss out on seeing that.", Drecos informed them

The soldier took out his sword and approached Carri. He lifted it back to kill her, then he plunged it forward.

Trey appeared in the Power Chamber after he was done destroying Zedd's tengas.

"THANK YOU, TREY FOR COMING TO HELP US IN THIS TIME OF NEED.", Zordon said

"It is the least I can do. Have you found the source of the time jump yet?", asked Trey

"Yes. It appears to be the Time Crystal.", Alpha told them

"Great. Now, how do we get them back?", asked Jason

"UNFORTUNATELY JASON, LITTLE IS KNOWN ABOUT THE TIME CRYSTAL. THEORETICALLY DESTROYING THE TIME CRYSTAL WILL BRING THEM BACK.", Zordon told him

"Great. Well, send me there, let me destroy it.", Jason said

"TREY WILL HAVE TO GO DESTROY IT. AFTER DESTRUCTION IT IS UNKNOWN IF THE BLAST WILL HAVE ANY EFFECTS ON A HUMAN UN-MORPHED BODY.", Zordon said

"If it means bringing the rangers back, count me in.", Trey said

"I am unsure exactly where the crystal is. But I will teleport you close to there with this location device. When you find it, destroy it with the Golden Power Staff.", Alpha said

Trey took the device. "I won't let you down."

With that, Alpha teleported him out.

Carri was prepared for the worst of the worst, which at this time looked like death. But much to her surprise the soldier killed one of the men who held her captive. She kicked the other one. As soon as Xena saw that Carri was free, she broke away from her captors.

"How dare you betray me!", yelled Drecos

Drecos looked around and noticed only a few soldiers left standing throughout the forest.

"You may have won this time Xena, but next time...", Drecos threatened. "All soldiers, retreat!"

Everyone looked on as Drecos took his soldiers and ran.

"So, who are you and why did you defy Drecos?", asked Xena

"As good as the benefits for his line of work sound, they're not worth killing my teammate, in two ways, one I prefer not to say and the other being baseball.", the soldier told them

"Adam!", Carri exclaimed as she went over and gave him a hug

"How did you know?", asked Adam

"Well, Rocky and Tommy are heading this way and unless Kat got a sex change on me.", Carri told him

"Adam!", Tommy yelled as he and Rocky went to greet him

"I saw what you did. You do know that you would've gotten your head chopped by me if you hadn't done what you did.", Rocky told him

"Well, annoying as she may be I couldn't bring myself to kill her.", Adam joked

"I quit. I really quit. It doesn't matter if it's Angel Grove or Greece, you guys still pick on me.", Carri complained

"You know I didn't kill you because Zordon would've gotten mad if I did.", Adam joked but got hit for his second reason

"Ok, so you're a friend and it's wrong to kill a friend.", Adam said sincerely

"Zordon? Who's Zordon? Is that some kind of god?", asked Gabrielle

"Oh, everybody, this is Adam. Adam, meet Hercules, Xena, Autolycus, Iolaus and Gabrielle.", Tommy said doing the introductions

"Hi.", Adam greeted

"Come on, let's get going. I have some things I wanted to do.", Xena said as she led everyone off

"And they're probably a diamond out there somewhere calling my name.", Autolycus said

"I doubt it.", Iolaus told him

"Either way, I'm gone. They weren't here long enough for me to steal anything, so this was worthless. You coming Rocky?", asked Autolycus

"No, I think I've found where I want to be.", Rocky told him

"In other words he's smartened up and is joining us at the castle.", Iolaus said

"Castle? On second thought I think I'm coming with you.", Autolycus said turning to join the others

"Figures.", Iolaus said

As they made their way on the path, an unknown woman approached them.

"Xena? Are you Xena?", she asked

"That's me.", Xena said

"The warrior Callisto has sent me to tell you that she's taking over the world and that you're next. She destroyed my village!", the lady told them

Xena got a look of anger in her eyes.

"Come on.", she ordered

"Where are we going?", asked Gabrielle

"To stop Callisto.", Xena told her

"There it is. Now let's see what happens when I do this.", said Trey as he took the power staff and let it loose on the crystal

"Hopefully that will do the trick.", said Trey as he teleported back

"Ai ai ai! It seems that nothing is happening! They should've come back by now. Oh no! Now what! The only person who can tell us how to get them back now is Lord Zedd!", exclaimed Alpha

"That's it. We've lost them. There's no way Zedd will help us.", said Jason

"ALL HOPE IS NOT LOSS. AS LONG AS THERE IS A WAY TO GET THEM BACK, WE'LL KEEP TRYING.", Zordon told him

"I hope you're right.", Jason said

Xena and the others busted into Callisto's camp.

"Alright Callisto. I'm here. To stop you.", Xena told her

"Oh, look who it is. It's Xena. And she's brought her friends to help her. How cute.", Callisto commented. "Get them."

Callisto's faithful did as they were told.

Callisto walked around viewing what was going on. "You, come here.", she said to the blond girl in the corner

The girl, who hadn't seen who had come to attack them, came forth.

Callisto started walking around with her. "You know, I understand why I feel like helping you so much. You remind me of me when I was young. So innocent and pure. But that all changed once she ruined it.", said Callisto as she pointed at Xena

The girl turned around to see not only Xena but the people that were fighting with her.

"Those are my friends!", she exclaimed

"Well, they're in my way. They're history now.", said Callisto as she tried to grab the girl and lead her off

"No!", she yelled as she ran to join the others

"Kat!", yelled Tommy

"I'm here. You need some help?", she asked

"Well, we're kind of busy. You could lend a hand.", Tommy told her

"You got it.", said Kat as she turned to attack some of the guys who where on her side a minute ago

"How dare she! Oh well. Now she can die too.", said Callisto as she started to lean her hand back

"Oh no you don't.", said Xena as she cut her arm off

"That hurt.", said Callisto as she put her arm down and let a new one grow

"Oh, ew, that was nasty.", Carri said as she joined Xena

"I'm glad you think so.", said Callisto and with one flip of the wrist she sent both Xena and Carri flying into a wall

"This is getting boring now.", Callisto said

"Well, let me help you spice it up a little.", said Hercules as he prepared to hit her

"How soon you mortals forget. I'm a god now. Have fun.", Callisto said as she disappeared

As soon as Callisto was gone everyone regrouped.

"Let's finish these guys off.", said Tommy in reference to Callisto's soldiers she left for dead

"Right.", agreed his ranger teammates

The others were confused at what they saw. Tommy had taken a stand in front of the others. Carri was behind him on the left and the new girl on the right. Then Rocky was behind Carri on the left and Adam behind the new girl on the right.

"What are they doing?", asked Gabrielle

"I don't know. But it looks like they know what it is they're doing.", Xena pointed out

The five rangers ran at the bad guys. At first they laughed, not believing that three guys and two girls could stop them. But they were surprised when they saw how good the boys karate skills were and how well the girls handled the swords. They quickly retreated. The rangers won the battle, with no help at all from the heros of that time.

"I must say, I'm impressed.", Autolycus said

"Ok, what gives? Who are you?", asked Iolaus

"We're the power rangers.", Tommy told him

Gabrielle busted out laughing. "That is the funniest thing I have ever heard!"

"It's the truth.", Rocky told them

"What exactly are the power rangers?", asked Hercules

"We are the protectors of the earth. We morph and fight battles against evil.", Carri told them

"Evil? You mean people like Callisto, right?", asked Xena

"Not exactly. We fight people like King Mondo and right now Lord Zedd.", said Adam

"Who are?", asked Iolaus

"Evil space aliens looking to take over the world.", said Kat

"And what exactly is morphing?", Gabrielle wanted to know

"Well, if we could access our powers I would yell, it's morphin time. Then we would yell out our respective zeo number and color. I would say zeo ranger five, red.", Tommy answered her question

"Then we end up in our ranger suits fighting the bad guys.", Rocky added

"Why that's the most absurd, most unbelievable, most...", started Autolycus but was cut off by a stranger

"You're forgetting true.", the stranger said

"What are you doing here?", asked Hercules

"I am here because the presence of these five strangers has thrown time out of wack.", the stranger told him

"How are you hurt by them being here?", Hercules asked

"Who is he?", whispered Kat

Carri shrugged her shoulders.

"I am Zeus. And I am here to put time back into the right order by sending you guys home.", Zeus told them

"Alright!", exclaimed Adam

"How did we get here in the first place?", asked Carri

"It appears as though someone in your time as used the Time Crystal, which is in the presence of us gods right now. How they got it in the first place is beyond me.", Zeus told them

"Zedd.", muttered Rocky

"So, why were we sent to different places?", asked Tommy

"You were sent where ever your ancestors were.", Zeus said

"Which means, I'm related to Hercules?", asked Tommy

Zeus nodded his head yes. "And me too."

"And I'm related to Autolycus.", Rocky said

"For me I guess it's Xena.", said Carri

"And Callisto.", Kat said

"And Drecos.", said Adam

"You are all right. Now it is time to say good-bye to your ancestors and return home. I will return you the place where you were to began with. Nobody will notice your coming in.", Zeus said

"Well, I guess this is good-bye.", said Tommy

Hercules was the first to wish his descendant good-bye.

"I'm glad to see that my ancestors still want to fight for the side of good.", Hercules told him

"The good side is the only side.", Tommy said as he and Herc shook hands

Xena was the next to send off her descendant.

"I see the warrior skill has stayed in the family. I'm just glad you use your fighting skill for good. Don't ever be tempted by evil.", Xena said

"I'll fight it all the way.", Carri promised as she and Xena hugged

"Well, you're not a thief. I'm surprised. I figured my family tree would be full of them. Oh well, you're doing something important with your life, and that's what counts.", Autolycus said as he shook Rocky's hand

"I think you could be doing something important too. But you seem to be well off being a thief, and as long as their are people like Iolaus around to stop you, it's fine by me.", said Rocky

Iolaus smiled.

Kat and Adam looked at the ground. They had both left their ancestors behind, their ancestors fought for the wrong side. Xena noticed their long faces.

"Adam, Drecos may not be a good guy, but he is still your ancestor. And, if you ignore the fact that he would be fighting on this Lord Ed's side I'm sure he would be happy to see what you've become.", Xena told him

Adam smiled as Kat continued to look at the ground.

"And you. Callisto isn't the best of people now. But she used to be. She used to have the same personality as you. And if it weren't for me, she still would. But you have the same soul as she used to, and I'm sure she see's that in you and is probably envious of it.", Xena said

Kat looked up and seemed happy with what Xena said.

"Now, I must send you home.", said Zeus

Zeus used a lot of his power to bring his hand forward and open up a portal straight to Dodger Stadium. The rangers jumped through it one by one.

As soon as it was over, Zeus left.

"Well, that was interesting to say the least.", Iolaus commented after they left

"I know you guys enjoyed seeing what your descendants looked like.", Gabrielle said

"I'm still surprised that I don't have thieves in my family.", Autolycus said

"Did you ever stop to think that they know that stealing isn't the right thing to do?", asked Iolaus

"Actually, no.", Autolycus told him

"Come on. We still have somewhere to be.", said Xena

And with that, they left for their destination.

"Going, going, gone!", yelled Rocky as they stood up to cheer

The rangers had made it back to the ball park just in time to see Mike Piazza's ninth inning heroics.

"Alright!", yelled Tommy

"Come on guys, let's go.", said Kat as they, along with the rest of the fans, started to file out of the stadium

As they headed up the stairs the ran into Jason who was running towards them.

"You missed a great ninth inning.", Rocky told him

"That's it? Nothing about where you were?", asked Jason

Carri put an arm around her friend as she led him up the stairs.

"Come on Jason. We have a lot to talk about.", she said

The six friends headed out of Dodger Stadium and to Carri's house, so they could discuss the past few hours events.

"I can't believe it! They're back!", exclaimed Rita

"Rito!", yelled Zedd

"Somebody is in trouble.", said Goldar as he laughed

"Yes Ed?", asked Rito as he entered the room

"Ed? Now you are really in trouble.", Zedd informed him

"Why?", asked Rito

"The power rangers have made it back to the present.", Goldar informed him

"Oh no.", said Rito as he started to run

"Come back here!", yelled Zedd as he chased after him

Goldar continued to laugh and Rita continued to watch the rangers as the two ran out of the room, with Rito running for his life.
