Question: Didn't Jenga's Library used to have a lot more authors? What happened?

Short Answer: My personal life got in the way and I had to reduce the size of the Library to maintain my sanity.

Long Answer: Yes, Jenga's Library did once have a lot more authors. In fact, this webpage was one of the biggest Ranger fic-pages on the internet. However, what was supposed to be a fun hobby quickly turned into a chore. I spent far too many Friday nights home, alone, updating a webpage, forgoing dates, nights out with friends, and a lot of other things. I tried to take on a crew of helpers to assist me in updating, but truth be told, that was just as much work as doing it all myself. I ultimately decided to drastically reduce the size of the webpage. I kept the authors who agreed to help me. Even though the help wasn't actually much help, the offer that was made was enough to secure a warm, gooey place in my heart for those folks, so I kept 'em. Every one else was cut. It wasn't anything personal, and I didn't/don't hold anything against those who didn't have the time to help me. My lack of time was the reason for reducing the Library, so I certainly wasn't going to hold it against anyone else for not lending me some of their time. But the fact remains, I wanted to keep the Library, but it was clear that I couldn't keep everyone, so I tossed about 90% of the authors out and kept 10%. The remaining ten percent don't produce as many fics, obviously, so while it may be a month or so between updates, I don't ever get horribly behind. The page is smaller, but I'm much happier.

Q: What happened to the Dark Realm?

The Dark Realm was Cynthia's webpage, also a fic archive. After I cut down the size of Jenga's, Cynthia's page (already with a great number of authors) got even bigger. She tried valiantly for several years to keep up, but, like myself and Kittie before me, the size of the webpage was just too much. She, also, has downsized, posting only her own fics and those of some people she collaborates with. After changing servers a few times, Cynthia's page can be found at its new home at http://members.nbci.com/thedarkrealm313/index.html.

Q: How can I write to an actor on the show?

A: Okay, this isn't really a frequently asked question, but I'm going to tell you anyhow. My friend Matthew and I are about the only two people in the PR fandom I know of who actively pursue celebrity autographs, and naturally, being PR fans, that interest extended to the PR actors. You can write to any of the actors currently on the show at this address:

Your Favorite Actor
c/o Power Rangers Time Force
26030 Avenue Hall Stage 3
Valencia, CA 91355

One thing to note, the villains and supporting characters have also been known to send autographs. In fact, I'd bet that since they probably get fewer pieces of fan mail than the Ranger actors, you'd probably get a quicker reply from them. And on a side note, if you'd like to get an autographed photo from another non-PR actor, you might want to check out this webpage (http://www.celebrity-addresses.com/) for celebrity autographs. My collection holds autographed photos from Mark Paul Gosselaar, Vanessa Angel, Arnold Schwarzeneggar, and a lot more. It only costs one polite letter and a stamp, usually. (Although if you wanted to be really polite, you could also include an S.A.S.E.)

Q: Why won't you let me in the back room?

A: Probably because you didn't follow the instructions. I need your real name, your real birthdate, and your real age. I ask for all three of those things because you'd be surprised at how many people tell me they're 21 years old but slip up and give the year 1988 as their year of birth. Also, you must send the request to the correct address. I'm picky because the Back Room does contain adult content. (I will also take this time to mention that the Back Room material is not on Yahoo!'s server. It's in a password protected site, so there is no way anyone can get in without my express permission.)

Q: Will you link to my page?

A: Certainly. Just send your URL and the name of your page to fanfic@stellarpath.net and I'll get it up as quickly as I can.

Q: Anything else you want me to address here? Let me know.
