Ugh.  Short today.  I’m irritated.

Weight: 408.8 pounds

Change from Last Week: +8.4 pounds

Change from All-Time Highest: –17.2 pounds

Yes, I know I didn’t really gain eight pounds.  I’m putting the scale away, although I have a hunch that if I got on it tomorrow, I’d see a drop even from today.

Oh, and I’m irritated with myself, not the process.  This doesn’t confuse me as to why I gained; I know why I gained.  I ate poorly, drank water poorly, slept poorly, and didn’t work out enough.

Onward and downward.  Next week, hopefully I’ll show a nice, healthy loss.

A So Close Weigh-In!

I was SO close to meeting my goal!  I set a goal of being below 400 for this week.  I got REALLY close, but close only counts in horseshoes and grenades.

Weight: 400.4 pounds

Change from Last Week: –2.4 pounds

Change from All-Time Highest: –24.6 pounds

Still, the scale is moving in the right direction, and I will happily take 2.4 pounds a week!

If you’ve been following The Ranger Project, I just got a Fitbit and I am already in love with the food tracking feature on their website.  Hopefully, this little device will give me the push I need to stick to this!

It’s an About Time Weigh-In

I’m finally back!  Stellar Path has never been a big blog, but I found that I missed it.  I know it’s just one voice in a sea of millions, but it’s my voice, and I found that I needed it.

Before I delve into this weigh-in, let me first say that I have been a very regular vlogger!  I am now doing a daily vlog called The Ranger Project.  Now, in the past when I spoke of doing something daily, I’d do it for three or four days and then quit.  Not this time.  Today, I’ll be posting Day #62 of The Ranger Project.  I’ve actually vlogged EVERY DAY for two months.

The Ranger Project is a vlogging experiment.  It’s part-fiction, part-reality.  It is far more reality than not, but the fictional aspect shows up from time to time.  Basically, in it, I am describing my daily weight loss efforts, along with a side story of receiving mysterious packages that guide me toward reaching goal weight and becoming a Power Ranger in preparation for a colossal fight on August 23, 2016.

I plan to blog here at least once a week.  Right now, Fridays will be my weigh-in day.

On the first day of the Ranger Project, June 1st, I weighed 419 pounds.

On July 1st, I weighed 414 pounds.  At that time, I pledged to give up the scale for a month.

It was a terrible decision.  I would have liked to know on multiple occasions how I had done.

So, how did I do?

August 1, 2014

Weight: 402.8

Change from Last Weigh-in: –11.2 pounds

Change from All-Time Highest: –22.2 pounds

I had hoped to break 400.  I didn’t, but I’ll consider 11.2 pounds lost in a month a decent victory. I could have done better, and I will strive to do better in the month of August (although I will be weighing in weekly).

One thing I find very interesting – prior to this most recent extreme weight gain, 402.8 was my former highest weight.  It isn’t any longer, but this is where I am standing now

This is familiar territory.  The weight will come off.

Next week, I plan to be below 400, for the first time in quite a while.  See you then!
